Meet Abbey LIverpool! She is currently 27 pounds, 4 months old, and we think she may be a Boxer/Pittie mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! (Don't tell her that she doesn't fit in your lap, because she doesn't endorse that kind of negativity, lol. If any part of her sits, she fits.) Abbey is currently in a loving foster home with her two sisters and loves to play and nap with her siblings. This gorgeous girl is quite mellow and laid-back and we admire her loving and gentle personality (and we know you will too). Abbey is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. We adopted Kona from the Humane Society in 2021 when she was 1y to add to our family. We had a few instances of fights with our other dog when we first introduced them but had no issues after the first 6 months for about 2 years. This year a couple of fights started between our dogs that got pretty intense and required a visit to the vet. Unfortunately, the fighting continued to get worse to the point where we have had to permanently separate them. This is an unfair situation for both of our dogs as one always has to be outside or in a bedroom while the other is in the main part of the house. So we have decided to try and find a loving home for Kona that will be better suited for her. She is an incredibly affectionate dog. She loves to cuddle on the couch with her people. She has a playful side and really likes stuffy toys. She needs to be in a home with no other pets. She manages with our cat but has had some instances of aggression, so I would suggest no cats as well.
