UPDATE:  Scrappy LOVES other dogs and cats.  He is shy of people at first, someone must not have been very nice to him.  He loves to run in the yard.  He will need a fenced in yard.  Scrappy Doo is amazing once he is settled in.  He would require a few play dates to get used to his new surroundings.  We are hoping to find a local adopter so we can schedule playdates with Srappy Doo and make a smooth transition into his new home. A scared wild puppy was the first image we saw of Scrappy Do. We included that photo in his listing, it should be the last picture. He was so defeated. He had been captured by a property owner after his parents had attacked a goat on the farm. Our friends at animal control responded to the goat attack... they saw the parent dogs running away but the property owner had caught Scrappy! He was so upset and dispondent. Our friends at the shelter called us when he came in because they knew our fosters have that special touch!  Foster mom Barbara has been working her magic and he is doing GREAT now! He has a foster sister, Pebbles, who is quite the doggie ambassador. He is learning how to be a puppy and is loving his new life! He is not a very big boy, and is just so stunningly beautiful! He is not YET fixed but will be as soon as he is old enough!  Scrappy is up to date on all shots and is neutered. Scrappy is such a sweet gentle boy.  He is looking for his special someone.  His foster sister Pebbles has been adopted.  He loves other dogs and cats.  He is unsure about people at first.  He just needs that special someone who will understand that while his life did not start out the best they will make sure the rest of his life is filled with love.  He is crate trained.  We actually keep the door to his crate open as he feels secure in there.  He also loves toys and will collect all th toys he finds and take them to his crate.  That is his man cave.   ##1366278##

Toadette is a sweet 4 year old suspected Boxer/Lab mix. She was originally adopted from Cincinnati, Ohio early 2024. She spent 7 months in the shelter before being adopted, which is a mystery to me because she is the perfect companion for the right person and household. Toadette has a happy demeanor, she can be very playful but also loves her naps and cuddles! She wants to be as close to her person as possible for her afternoon naps and bed time. She loves rubber squeaky toys, plush toys and jerky treats! Toadette has the most personality I have seen in a dog, she is very expressive, making her quirky and unique. This sweet girl loves to go on walks and would prefer a home that is able to either take her on walks or has a fenced yard for playtime. Toadette unfortunately cannot be with other dogs, cats or children. There is no exception to this. She can be shy at first but warms up quickly with a happy wiggle butt and wagging tail. Toadette would prefer someone who understands her needs

Boodro is a big goofy boy who wants nothing more than to be close to his people, wiggling next to them and demanding belly scratches and kisses. If you haven't paid him enough attention, he will certainly let you know! He is an expert at destroying stuffed toys and enjoys a good game of tug or fetch. He enjoys going on walks around the neighborhood - just make sure to allow some time for a roll in the grass and baking in the sun. Afterward, he will plop on the couch for a good snooze and cuddle. He does enjoy food and will happily sit or give his paw for a treat. He is also a pro at sleeping in his crate at night - he understands "go crate," goes right in, and has not had an accident while being crated (or in the house at all). Hello, I'm Bradley! I'm a laid-back, friendly boy who loves treats, toys, and, most of all, people. I may be 10 years old, but I still have a playful spirit and enjoy my daily walks, rolling around in the sun, and basking in the warmth. I'm a gentleman through and through, and I'd love to be your loyal companion. Though my journey hasn't always been easy, I'm a true survivor. Three and a half years ago, I was hit by a car, and for a while, I couldn't use my hind legs. After a lot of hard work and determination, I made a full recovery! It took time, but I got back on my paws, running and hopping around just like any other dog. While I do still have some incontinence from nerve damage to my spine, I wear cute diapers to keep me comfortable when accidents happen. Despite everything I've been through, I found love at the shelter. I made a best friend, and her name is Sassafras! As I grew older here at the shelter, my energy started to decline. That is, until I met Sassafras. She has re-ignited my love of playing, and brought so much joy into my life! We are bonded, and live and play together every day. The staff affectionately calls us "Bradafrass", and everyone who meets us can't get enough! We are looking for our forever home together, and would love to share our joy, and adorable relationship with you! I have so much love to give and am looking for a patient person who can provide me with the extra care I need. I promise both Sassafras and I will reward you with cuddles, companionship, and a whole lot of joy in return. If you think you can give us the home we deserve, we would love to meet you! I`m 50 Scent, and I`ve been waiting for you in da club....da friendship club! I`m VERY attentive to my person and would be your very best friend. I`ve spent time in a foster home, and my foster family reports I`m housebroken, crate trained, and know sit and paw, and I`ll always whip out the tricks when you offer me a little snack (perhaps from the candy shop) or a squeaky toy! After we spend some time together outside in the sunshine, I`m totally content to sploot on the floor next to you while you get work done, and I`ll be ready for cuddles whenever you are. Da friendship club is tight-knit - I much prefer people to everything else, so I would prefer to be the only pet in the home, pretty please. The only other thing you should know about me is that I CAN climb fences, but I really have no desire to as long as you’re with me, so supervised time outside or leashed walks is perfect for me. Adopting me would be like partying like it`s your birthday EVERY DAY! Mic drop. Let`s meet!
