Bojo was a rescue at 3 months old in May of 2022. Original 0wner was arrested and sentenced for Robbery. Bojo grew up with 2 other puppies and had a large fenced in yard to play in. In October 2023, My wife and I moved here to Florida. Our back yard is to small for 3 dogs so we rehomed 1 to a friends home. Bojo began digging out of our back yard and keeps running away. He has been chipped so we get him back, but he clearly isn't happy now. Bojo is very friendly and has never groweled (except when niki or coco tried to take his toy or treat) and never tried to bite anyone. Bojo is protective of his home which is the only time he will bark. He doesn't howl at passing sirens and he loves taking walks (long or short). He will try to approach children playing which can be scarry for an unknow child, but only wants to lick or be petted. Bojo has a very good temperament.

You know who the coolest dog is? DUSTY! This good boy is so overlooked. He's friendly with everyone he meets, every dog and even cats! He's cool as a cucumber, but also has a playful spirit. Dusty is a 6 year old Boxer mix who is 77lbs of mushiness and love. He's very affectionate, will kiss a total stranger and blend right in with all of your animals. He has also been to several dog bars and loved them! We just can't say enough good things about him. He's in South Tampa and all of his vet care has been taken care of. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. He came to us at 114lbs and is down to 77lbs and looking amazing. Allman is the definition of a Boxer, from his looks to his personality traits! This 7-year-old boy is always looking for opportunity to play, and loves making everything a game. He is a great ball player and may not always bring it back, but his enthusiasm keeps the game going. He enjoys carrying toys around wherever he goes, squeaky toys are super fun, but Kong toys are also wonderful. He also has a prankster side with shoes and likes to untie your laces when you are walking. He is loyal to his friends here at Satchel's but can be a bit picky. He takes a little time to get to know people and, although he is high energy, he prefers a calm first-time meeting. Allman has a Woof Pack leader here at Satchel's and they are working on his acceptance of new people. Once accepted, Allman is a loving, playful, intelligent boy who can't wait to be with you. He walks very well on a leash and loves going on adventures. He knows his basic commands and with treats, he can do them with a swiftness. Allman would be the perfect canine companion for someone who loves being active or has a love for and understanding of the Boxer breed. He would do well with a fenced in yard, or multiple walks to get some of the energy down. Looking like a hairless wonder, is our boy Brodie. While his looks may not do him justice, this little guy has a heart of gold. Coming from a pretty poor background, it has taken some time to get this pup used to being just that, a dog again. He was terrified of water, avoiding anything other than his water bowl. His skin was in desperate need of healing, and medicated baths were a top priority. With the help of staff and volunteers, his skin is looking so much better, even if his hair has not come back. He was also not very social, and did not understand what we were doing in just an attempt to pet him. He is now showing affection with those he trusts, looking forward to those butt scratches and head pets that he feared in the beginning. He absolutely loves food, which is helpful in his training. He is muzzle trained, after working hard with a staff member, which has made certain things easier for both Brodie and those helping. He has been in playgroup and has made quite a few canine companions. We would love to continue watching Brodie progress and be a confident, caring, loving dog that we all know he is. Hello! We are the Sea Puppies! Did you know there are more than Seven Seas? Well there are because there are EIGHT of us! We had a bit of a rough start to life, but once we got here to CCAS, everything changed and we are loving it! But what we would love even MORE is each of us getting our own furever family that will love us always! We have to be honest though, we are young PUPPIES and with that are a few "warning labels". Puppies just love to CHEW on anything and everything (including your shoes) and we still need to be taught all of the "house rules". But we also love to run and play and cuddle and give kisses. Stella is 1 yr 3 mo. She is very cuddly & sweet. She’s trained for simple commands like sit, down, stay, & waits for her food. She prefers to not be in a crate when alone for a long time but sleeping in there is fine. She loves laying in bed & cuddling. She’s an athletic dog so she definitely needs a fenced backyard. She loves other dogs & people but since she is a puppy, small kids are not preferred since she’s energetic & jumps. She calms down a lot after your initial walking through the door. She’s an extremely good dog. I would keep her but I am just too busy & she doesn’t like being in the crate while I am at work. Stella loves going to the dog park & playing for hours. She also loves the beach. A very good long time companion for anyone searching. She isn’t aggressive at all. She barks to alert you if anyone is heard outside or at the door. I’ve had her since she was 5 weeks old. She isn’t a pure bred boxer but she carries the traits. I will include a crate & a bag of food.
