Story
Musa, Mufasa, Mush, Mu, the cutie who goes by many names and is just a happy go lucky pup! Thanks to his foster family he is nice and healthy now, and just a bundle of love he wants to shower on every being he meets. He loves a nice walk, especially if it means squirrels and rabbits to dream of catching one day. His foster is working with him to be okay to greet everyone without abundance of enthusiasm that looks like some jumping, but it's hard for such a happy pup! Musa currently lives with another dog and does a beautiful job coexisting and understanding boundaries. He has the most beautiful markings of one tan ear, speckles of tan on the other and a freckled muzzle. At a healthy weight his coat is super soft and he is sure to give you kisses in exchange for pets. His sweet eyes will capture your heart in no time! With such a happy wagging tail he got a case of happy tail and has a spot that is healing up really nicely now that he has space out of the shelter kennel to move his wiggly butt around. Musa does wonderfully in the crate at night and when his foster needs to leave the house. He is also house trained and game for some snuggles after getting his zoomies out. Musa lives up to his nickname of Mush as he will make your heart a pile of mush in love with his playful sweet self! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ADOPTION DISCLAIMER: At Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3), we aim to provide accurate information about all of our animals to the best of our abilities. Story
Herbie is a lovable 70-pound Boxer mix with a heart full of gold. About a year old, he was found wandering the back roads of Tennessee without a collar or microchip, battling a tough case of mange. While no one has come forward to claim him, Herbie is now looking for his forever family! His skin is healing beautifully, and his sweet, curious nature shines through more each day. ‍&#226&#153&#130&#239&#184&#143 Herbie enjoys his daily walks and is getting better at leash manners. He’s also learning to curb his excitement when greeting people! He’s great with other dogs and, after playtime, is happy to sit quietly by your side. He hasn’t been tested with cats or kids yet, but we think his gentle personality would be a great match for the right home! Critter Cavalry Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) that travels to the Northeast states weekly, helping high-risk homeless animals like Herbie find loving homes. For more info on our mission, adoption fees, and drop-off points, visit us at CritterCavalry.com! &#226&#156&#168 Could your family be the one Herbie's been waiting for? &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com to request an adoption application.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 11, 2024, 7:28 pm

Story
Stella is looking for their forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS: Stella is one of the most low maintenance fosters I've ever had the pleasure of helping find a forever home. From being a shy, scared, and timid girl to being confident, secure, and well-mannered, Stella has grown so much in the 2+ years I've known her; although the vacuum cleaner is still enemy #1. Stella has lived in all types of settings: in a busy city, in an apartment, on a quiet street, with dogs, with reactive dogs, and easily adapted to her home environment. She is crate trained and LOVES having a bed in her crate to curl up into a donut while you're at work. She knows every basic command like sit, down, touch, stay and is fully potty trained. Stella's favorite toy is a lambie, or something else that is tiny that she can carry around in her mouth. Once, she took care of an egg for 6 hours before it broke, she's the most gentle creature. Stella is made of love and French fries. There's nothing more that she wants than to be inside with her people, cuddled up on the couch with a show, or playing sous chef in a calm kitchen. She takes awhile to warm up to her people, but with some french fires (her favorite is Burger King), some space, and a bit of patience, she'll love you unconditionally and will likely knock you over from wagging her tail and wiggling so hard with excitement every time she sees you. Although Stella is a perfect girl in the home, on leash, and with other dogs, she is scared of human strangers, especially masculine presenting people, and will need a strong advocate to help keep her safe. If you're looking for a great addition to your calm and cozy life with unconditional love to give, Stella is the gal for you. Stella would do best living with queer folks, a home without cis-gendered men, without cats, and without small children. ATTRIBUTES: Stella has lived in foster with other dogs, but can not go to a home with kids, cats, or cis-gendered men. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. We strive to provide accurate information on all of our animals however, we are unable to guarantee an animal's breed, size, health, behavior, temperament, or any other conditions. Our adoption fees are not inclusive of all vetting / medical care, food, supplies and/or training costs. Since we rely on donations to compensate for those deficits we are unable to reduce or refund this fee. TO ADOPT OR FOSTER: Please apply on our website at www.lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org or email info@lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org if you have questions! TO DONATE: Please consider making a donation on our website at www.lailaslegacyanimalrescue.org so that Laila's Legacy can continue to provide lifesaving medical treatment and training.

Story
male, approx. 2 years old, 40 lbs Personality: outgoing, eager-to-please, affectionate, adventurous, goofy/funny, loyal, snuggler, rambunctious, energetic, and good running partner. Archer is a snuggly boy who absolutely loves the dog park, play time, and going on long walks - every day is a new adventure for him. His foster says that it's hard not to be happy when Archer is around. He is also a master of sleeping and cuddling: after his morning walk, he curls up on the couch or back in his crate to take a long day's nap. If you're in a couch potato mood and prefer to stay in for the day, Archer is more than happy to cuddle with you as you watch your favorite movie or TV show. Archer loves to meet new people and especially loves his toys and outdoor time - he does well on a leash and makes a great running partner, too! This smart boy has learned house training and tons of words, like paw, sit, down, heel, drop it, wait, spin, and come. Archer is protective of his toys, so he'd do best in a home without young kids. Are you seeking a loyal, loving, energetic pup to be your companion on adventures near and far? Apply today to meet your new best friend Archer! _____________________________________________________________________ If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon. Apply for a DOG: http://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/adoptable-dogs.html Interested in saving more lives? Foster a dog today! Learn more, see our list of dogs needing foster, and apply, https://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/foster-a-city-dog.html City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Leptospirosis, and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.

Story
Cooper is three and half, high energy boy. He needs to be able to run around, loves going for hikes and long walks. He's a good boy if he's getting his energy out, if he gets bored he will dig in the yard or bark too much at the window. Squirrels drive him crazy if he can see them from the window. He loves blankets and sleeping under one, he wants to be where you are and will sit and wait for you to finish whatever you're doing. He's not a cuddler unless he's sleeping next to you, would love to sleep in bed with you as well. He goes to doggy daycare 3 times a week and plays well with other dogs there, but when he's home I feel he gets along better with females or maybe he's just more protective at home. He has 2 girlfriends that come over to play with him at home and loves them. He's a wrestler, so a dog with his energy works best. Our home has become very busy with kids growing up and no one having enough time to give him the attention he needs.

Baloo is a sweet, quiet cuddler that wants to just sit in the sun or on the couch with you. He is 13 years young and has so much life left of love to give and get. He is trained so well and listens to commands. He asks for nothing but loves and whatever treats you can spare. He loves to be pet on his butt and just general. If you stop petting him he will put his paw on you for more love! He knows how to shake, sit, leave it and just wants to be around you and nap. If you want to play he loves to do happy hops! Baloo has had an adopted little brother Teddy Bear a 6 year old Lasa Paso that loves baloo so much. If you have heart and home to take both these good boys in at the same time while Baloo enjoys his golden years you won't regret it!

Sable is a verrrrrry well trained high energy girl who would love a home that takes her walking/running/hiking and plays fetch and ball with her! She listens wonderfully and does best with laid back dogs that enjoy goofing off with her. She is currently in a home where the owners work multiple jobs leaving little time for her and even less time for good hard fun. Life is boring in a crate. If you are looking for a fun sidekick to join you in lots of activities, please apply! She would be over the moon to live the life she craves! contact irondawgs13@gmail.com for adoption application.

To learn more about our upcoming events and to see which event he will be attending, please visit our event page at https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/ (*please note that the specific event pages are typically updated on Fridays with information on which dogs will be attending which events*) Hi! I'm King. I am loving, loyal, and - ok, you made me say it - very handsome. Oh, and did I mention that I am looking for a best friend to adopt me? I like leash walks, especially in calm and quiet spaces where we can spend some quality time together without the crowds. But, I may get distracted by all of the wonderful smells because I really do need to put my nose on everything to explore the wonders of the world. Not only am I curious, I am up for a challenge! I like to run across streams, jump on logs, and hike the trails. I have lots of energy so will be sure to help keep up with your exercise plan. I even like to get in a jog from time to time. And, not to brag, but I am pretty smart. But, for the sake of all those delicious treats, I will pretend that it takes me time to master new tricks and skills. One more thing to tell you. I like to talk when I play. I hope you will come to meet me so we can play together forever, just you and me!

Story
What my Foster says about me ; Miss Gloria is truly a one of a kind. She is a tiny girl with a heart that's a big as the sky. She absolutely loves to be with her people and is the funniest happiest girl I've ever met. Her favorite thing is ball time in the yard and after about 15mins she is ready for a nap. She enjoys short walks around the neighborhood and is amazing with her leash skills. Gloria is completely house & crate trained and is nondestructive in the home. She is a very loving girl who loves to cuddle and curl up over a good movie. Gloria is a very smart girl who will wait for her food and she is the master at sit and stay She loves to sleep curled up in bed with you, but she is also perfectly fine sleeping in her kennel through the night. Miss Gloria does need to the be only dog in the home, but she does do very well in a pack walk At 35lbs she is so full of life and love that having her as your only dog is ok because she will fill your day with all the love and laughter you need. Miss Gloria also adores children and has been wonderful around all children she has met. This girl is a lover of all food but if you ask her what her favorite is well its definitely going to be sardines. There is nothing this girl wont eat. Gloria would be a perfect girl to add to any family that is ready to be loved , have some laughs and love a little meatball who's love for people is bigger than her entire body. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ADOPTION DISCLAIMER: At Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3), we aim to provide accurate information about all of our animals to the best of our abilities. Story
Daisy is a sweet, playful pup full of energy. She's being fostered with a senior dog, and trying really hard to become friends, but he's no match for her energy. She did really well at her temporary fosters and her two foster siblings, who were closer to her in age. They took walks together, played and napped together. Daisy would love to have a playmate in her forever home. She's been working hard on mastering her leash skills, SIT, STAY, and keeping all for paws on the floor when meeting new people. She's a smart cookie. ADOPTION DISCLAIMER: At Perfectly Paired Pitties (P3), we aim to provide accurate information about all of our animals to the best of our abilities.
