Story
I have two boxers and they are brothers. The first ones name is chop and the second one’s name is Mac. I drove to Pennsylvania Amish country and these are the second two that I have gotten from the same breeder. My husband took the first dog who is another brother, and he was also from the breeder for Amish country. Ideally, I would love for them to get adopted together because they absolutely love each other and play very well together. These dogs barely bark. The only thing is my job has picked up for way more travel, and I am unable to give them the life that they deserve going forward. I have three boys and they absolutely love them, but understand that Mom can’t take care of them every other week with shared custody. They are very lovable and caring. They do sleep in a pen with their beds and I would be happy to provide the pens, the cages, the beds and the bowls. All the toys and everything that I purchased for them. I’m very sad to see them go,

Story
ALL our cats and dogs are in the NY area but can be adopted out of state to the purrfect furever home.  In some cases, we can help transport.  Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions  follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:)     5m old fun Punch is named after Punch the Monkey. Our Punch is from Puerto Rico. All dogs are located in NY/NJ area All our puppies need puppy play dates/doggy facetime so we recommend homes with other pups or daily interactions to keep them tired out, happy and social.     Facebook: Zani's Furry Friends ZFF (weekly adoption event info posted there) Twitter: zanisff  Instagram: zanisfurryfriends  Sweet 14weeks old Punch is name after Punch the Monkey.      Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, Rabies vaxed, and microchipped (not Lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it!)  All are in the NY/NJ area but we will adopt out of state to the purrfect home and in some cases, we can arrange transport.  Please go to our site  https://zanisfurryfriends.org  fill out an application  Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent--please ask by writing us at dogs@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application early Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too.   Please consider providing a home for more than one dog, especially if you are considering adopting a puppy. Dogs are pack animals and very much enjoy as well as need other dog company to learn to play, socialize and be good companion animals to people. The upside to this is that you won't feel as guilty leaving them alone and you get twice the love. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer, and you can always donate! If you want to know about cats/dogs specifically being shown at our adoption locations, please email us info@zanisfurryfriends.org closer to the date so we know your interest and will make every effort to have that pet at the event or let you know how and where you can meet.  It is extemely helpful and speeds up adoption if the application is filled out prior to visiting us so please do that before coming to our weekend events. Our weekend locations are: Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent  Follow us on FB, Zani's Furry Friends ZFF, for latest updates. Usually we are in our foster homes so all this is a bit more stressful but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer. And you can always donate:) Cats and Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD w/ all age appropriate shots and microchipped. Cats are feline combo tested for FIV/FeLV; dogs are heartworm tested and rabies vax'd, (NOT lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it); rabbits are spayed/neutered. Please fill out an application and email to: For Cats: cats@zanisfurryfriends.org For Dogs: dogs@zanisfurryfriends.org For Rabbits: nyc.acc.rabbits@gmail.com. Please visit our website zanisfurryfriends.org.

Story
Howdy from Texas! My name is Tank, and I am a handsome Boxer/Mastiff mix, almost 1-year-old, about 80 lbs, and I was hanging out at a convenience store in Castroville, Texas, trying to make friends with the customers so someone would take me home. Thankfully, my plan worked when a lady pulled up in her car, and she is now my foster mom. I have been having a fun time playing with the other foster dogs while getting ready for adoption… vaccines, neuter, microchip, preventatives, lots of love and socialization, although I was already social, LOL! I am a super friendly boy who gets along great with all people, young and old, other dogs, and kitty cats. I have gobs of energy and enjoy playtime and outdoor activities like walking, hiking, camping, tug-of-war, running zoomies, or any kind of adventure! I am good on a leash and love rides in the car, and I’ll jump right in on my own when you call me. Fun fact: I am a total foodie! I’ll eat any treat offered, but I especially like carrots. I am also the affectionate type, not embarrassed to share kisses or snuggle beside you on the sofa. I am a very nice playmate for grownups, kids, or dogs, and although I will retrieve a ball when thrown, I’m still learning to bring it back to you. I’m well-behaved, housebroken, doggy-door trained, and I do not guard my food or toys. As a matter of fact, one of my doggy friends and I will frequently share food bowls. I am just a very nice boy and a total looker who can rock a bowtie, and I know I will make a wonderful forever dog! Inquire about me today. * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Story
If you love outdoor adventures Wallace is the dog for you. This 2–3-year-old Boxer/Hound sweetheart is an active boy– he loves hiking on the trails, running in the snow, splashing in the water – it’s all good with him. He walks well on leash, and actually loves to lead the way, which is really sweet. Oh, and he loves riding in the car, especially if its for a pup cup! At 77 pounds Wallace is a big guy but is as gentle and affectionate as could be. He is very intelligent, a good learner and has a strong desire to please his people. He loves to play but also settles down easily. And while he sleeps through the night on his bed, he would always prefer to share yours if given the chance. Wallace is currently in foster, where he is doing great, but he is waiting eagerly to find his forever home. He is looking for an experienced owner to guide him and be his best friend. He would do best in a home with adults or older kids who can manage his size and energy, and while he plays well with other dogs, should be the only dog in the home. Also on his wish list... a yard where he can explore and stretch his legs! In return for all of that he promises to give back with loads of love and lots of loyalty. Kindhearted Wallace just can't wait to find that forever family who will appreciate how truly special he is! Could it be you? Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Meet Princess Penne! This 6-year-old, 40 lb sweetheart is the total package — brains, beauty, and just the right amount of sass. Penne has settled beautifully into her foster home and has been busy learning all kinds of new skills. She’s an eager student who loves to make her people proud! Penne is a classic bully girl who loves her people big time. She greets everyone she meets with a happy heart and zero hesitation — kids and adults alike are instant best friends in her book. If you’ve got affection to give, Penne is ready to soak it all up. When it comes to fun, the flirt pole is her absolute favorite toy. She also loves foraging toys and snuffle mats that keep her clever brain busy. But don’t worry — she’s not destructive at all! Penne is respectful in the home and leaves her toys and bedding perfectly intact. Princess Penne’s royal resume: • Crate trained • Potty trained • Polite with her belongings • Smart and eager to learn • Expert snuggler Her perfect day? A nice hike or outdoor adventure followed by curling up on the couch for some serious cuddle time. She’s just as happy chilling with her people as she is heading out to explore. Penne does have a high prey drive, so she’s looking for a home without cats or small animals. She also came from a past where she had some difficult encounters with other dogs, which made her fearful when she first arrived in foster care. With patience and training, she’s made wonderful progress and has learned to peacefully coexist during structured activities with a calm neutered male dog in the home. That said, Penne would truly love to be your one and only princess, soaking up all the love and attention. However, she may be able to live with a relaxed, dog-savvy neutered male with a very slow, thoughtful introduction. If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy, a couch-snuggling professional, and a loving companion who will adore you with her whole heart, Princess Penne might just be your perfect match.
