Story
Brody is still all puppy. Sweet, silly, rambunctious! He’s a very lovable guy who’s silly , fun and playful. This guy is the shelter favorite. Everyone at the shelter loves him! He will need some training due to his puppiness. The aco (animal control officer) tells a story of how Brody likes to ambush him out in the yard when he wants to play. He’s a silly goober. But he’s leash trained. Vaccinated, neutered, hw-. Ready to join his new family or his new significant other. Be it!! BE HIS HERO!!

Story
This beautiful boxer mix joined Petrescue just in time for Christmas, and of course we named her Noelle. To say that Noelle had a difficult start in life, is an understatement. As incomprhensible as this sounds, Noelle was thrown out of a moving car. A Department of Transportation worker happened to witnes this tradgedy, and brought her to the police station. Fortunately she was not hurt and Petrescue was notified by the police. We picked Noelle up, brought her to Petrescue and she is now enjoying a new lease on life with us and doing well. She is a sweet girl, friendly with humans and other dogs. If you would like to meet this girl, come to our Meet & Greet Saturday 11:30-1:30. If you are interested in this dog, please submit an application directly to our website at www.ny-petrescue.org. Only applications submitted directly to Petrescue will be considered.

Story
If you love outdoor adventures Wallace is the dog for you. This 2–3-year-old Boxer/Hound sweetheart is an active boy– he loves hiking on the trails, running in the snow, splashing in the water – it’s all good with him. He walks well on leash, and actually loves to lead the way, which is really sweet. Oh, and he loves riding in the car, especially if its for a pup cup! At 77 pounds Wallace is a big guy but is as gentle and affectionate as could be. He is very intelligent, a good learner and has a strong desire to please his people. He loves to play but also settles down easily. And while he sleeps through the night on his bed, he would always prefer to share yours if given the chance. Wallace is currently in foster, where he is doing great, but he is waiting eagerly to find his forever home. He is looking for an experienced owner to guide him and be his best friend. He would do best in a home with adults or older kids who can manage his size and energy, and while he plays well with other dogs, should be the only dog in the home. Also on his wish list... a yard where he can explore and stretch his legs! In return for all of that he promises to give back with loads of love and lots of loyalty. Kindhearted Wallace just can't wait to find that forever family who will appreciate how truly special he is! Could it be you? Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Meet Magda! She is a very sweet pup who was saved from a local shelter by someone who then had unexpected life changes, and was unable to continue to care for her. Magda is very friendly with other dogs, and went to doggy daycare where she loved playing! She also lived with multiple cats and enjoyed their company. She is house trained. Magda is very social, loves being with her people and is even very trusting of strangers. Although she loves to cuddle, she is no couch potato – she loves to walk, run, and play with her toys. Magda would make an excellent hiking partner for someone who wants an outdoor buddy to take on social gatherings. She' s working on her basic manners, and although she is very friendly she needs a little more training before she can be with small children or elderly people because she will sometimes jump up for attention - she just loves everyone so much she can't contain her excitement! So far, Magda knows "sit" and comes when called. Magda is about 1-2 years old, and around 50lbs. Please visit our website www.pprct.org and fill out an application you think this social girl would be a good fit for your family!
