Story
Greetings and salutations, Colorado, it’s me, Gonzo! I like to fancy myself a courteous and honorable gent, and my mom always told me begging is bad manners, but the Underdogs assured me that begging for a hero to help save you is the exception to that rule. Allow me to properly introduce myself. My name is Gonzo and I’m a 2-3 year-old gentle giant Boxer/American Bulldog mix buddy and I'm crossing all my paws for a hero foster or adopter. My Underdogs foster folks can only surmise that I was once somebody’s well-loved guy before I ended up in the dog clink.  I have impeccable bathroom manners, walk politely on leash and lounge quietly on my dog bed.  I’ll never know why my previous peoples stopped loving me and why they left me to wander the cold winter streets alone. What I do know, though, is that I’ve never stopped loving the peoples, ALL the peoples. Because man alive, do I love them! I could sweetly lean into them for pets and cuddles all day long. And if they gave me proper permission, I’d also happily cover them in my signature Gonzo smooches. It’s also my sole mission in life to make them laugh with my hilarious antics and sweet demeanor. I'm a calm dude in the home, but I also love to go for runs, walks and hikes. Basically, I'm down for all the Colorado adventuring.  I do well around other good fit dog friends, but my best fit home may be one where I'm your only four-legged best bud. Believe me, I've got so much love to give, one Gonzo guy is all you'll ever need. I truly am such an easy well-mannered giant lover, I just know you'll love me once you meet me.  I'm neutered, vaccinated  If you’re interested in learning more about me and hopefully set up a meeting, please fill out an adoption application at https://underdogsrescue.org/adopt-form/  and if you're interested in helping spring me from this sad and lonely dog clink by helping to foster me, I would be soo sooo grateful, please fill out a foster application at https://underdogsrescue.org/foster-form/ .  ##1906137##

Story
Meshack can't wait to leave the shelter behind and decompress in a loving home. He's a worried guy who needs a gentle approach and the ability to go at his own pace as he gets to know his new family and routine. Once he's feeling comfortable, Meshack finds comfort in the people he trusts and likes to sit in his favorite people's laps and give kisses. Still young, Meshack will benefit from daily exercise and having a variety of toys to play with. His previous family noted that he loves basketballs! Our volunteers have told us that he is calm and gentle, enjoys spending the time on his walks to take in the sights and sounds, knows sit and shake, and takes treats gentlyWith his love for basketball, perhaps Meshack is a Denver Nuggets fan who will enjoy sitting next to you watching their games! What a cutie! Meshack will only be rehomed to a family with children 10 or older. Primary Color: Brindle Secondary Color: White Weight: 56 Age: 2yrs 9mths 2wks

Story
Meet Ringo, a spirited 3-year-old Boxer who was rescued from a high-kill shelter just in time. Ringo is a lovable and goofy dog who thrives as the only pet in the home. He’s dog-selective and tends to play a bit too hard, showing food aggression with other dogs, so he’s best suited for a home where he can be the sole canine companion. With his person, Ringo is a bundle of joy—playful, affectionate, and always up for cuddles. He enjoys beach outings, where he can let loose and have a great time. If you’re looking for a fun-loving and dedicated dog who will bring lots of energy and love into your life, Ringo is eager to be your new best friend.
