Story
Meet Ringo, a spirited 3-year-old Boxer who was rescued from a high-kill shelter just in time. Ringo is a lovable and goofy dog who thrives as the only pet in the home. He’s dog-selective and tends to play a bit too hard, showing food aggression with other dogs, so he’s best suited for a home where he can be the sole canine companion. With his person, Ringo is a bundle of joy—playful, affectionate, and always up for cuddles. He enjoys beach outings, where he can let loose and have a great time. If you’re looking for a fun-loving and dedicated dog who will bring lots of energy and love into your life, Ringo is eager to be your new best friend.

Story
Hi, my name is Rockwell! I am a 6 year old Lab/Boxer mix. Whew! Glad I got that introduction out of the way. I can be a bit shy when introducing myself, but I always make fast friends with nice people. Any chance you're a nice person looking for a new best friend? Bonus points if you're a shy, nice person. We could bond over our similarities! We could also bond over one of the best things known to dog-kind... belly rubs! Fun fact: belly rubs are great for the dog (of course!) but also boost the mood of the human giving them. What a miracle! I'm a smart boy, so I make a point of knowing these kinds of things. Speaking of being smart, I love keeping my brain busy by playing puzzles and learning new tricks. I'm also smart enough to have great house manners which, naturally, means I am potty trained. In addition to mental exercise, I love to stay fit by running and rolling (you might think of it as "ROCKing and rolling!) around the yard, going for walks (I love walks!) and playing with my personal favorite invention of all time, tennis balls!    One of my favorite things (aside from those amazing belly rubs) is cuddling. Since summer is almost over in Colorado, wouldn't it be great to have a snuggle buddy during the upcoming cold weather months? I've been told I'm a fantastic cuddler- you could even call me a cuddle bug! More than anything, I'm an overall great companion and absolutely adore being with my people. When I'm not cuddling with my people or playing brain games, you can often find me relaxing in my crate. Car rides are a blast for me, so if you enjoy the open roads, we'd make a great pair! Please apply to meet me at hobocare.org! Story
Bandit was born in May of 2023. He was originally our next door neighbor's dog. He was surrendered to the shelter in May of 2024 and we got him, rescuing him from "puppy jail" and bringing him to our home where he received lots of love and training. We also have a senior dog in our home who admittedly does not love his new housemate. The dogs tolerate each other, but Bandit wants to play, and our senior (smaller) dog, wants to rest and enjoy his old age in peace. Bandit is a good boy who is ultimately in the wrong home. We are reluctant to bring him back to the shelter after he was already surrendered once. We are not in a rush. Seeking the right home and happy to practice patience until we find it. The adoption fee is included due to a recommendation that we got suggesting that fees help with finding safe homes. Bandit is a strong boy, and we want to make sure he ends up somewhere SAFE where he will be loved and his strength and physical capability will not be exploited.
