She will sit or lay right next to you wherever you are like your personal sidekick. Indie has a more calmer nature, but when she’s excited she can also seem anxious. Which she is a little, she’s afraid of thunder and fireworks, and needs something to hold in her mouth (right now she has a bunny) when she’s excited. But she is so loyal and sweet. Loves belly scratches, she’ll actually give you her paw a million times, she wants you to scratch her belly. And finally, she absolutely loves to cuddle. She is not fixed.

Dolly is 40Ibs of pure love and joy. She absolutely loves to cuddle and has completely melted the hearts of her foster family. She is super outgoing and affectionate with new people. She doesn't seem to have an aggressive bone in her body. Dolly is quite the character—super playful, silly, curious and bright. When she's not playing or cuddling, she also does well chilling in her crate. She doesn't bark or whine much at all. She is potty trained, sits when asked, and usually comes when called, but is still working on solidifying her recall when distractions are present. She is also working on leash training. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Teeka, a 1 year 7 month old spayed female, Boxer mix, 42lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with a yard, daily exercise, training and patience. Meet Bubbles! Bubbles is guessed to be a 5 month old Boxer/Dane, with perhaps some Lab in her mix, and is as sweet as can be. She is on the smaller side for this mix, (more like a Boxer). This girl loves playing with her foster family's dogs, chasing balls and toys, and cuddling in anyone's lap. She is a super quick learner, mastering the sit command within 24 hours in her foster home. She knows how to use a dog door, and is working on additional basic commands and doing great with potty training. She really is the sweetest, gentlest fun-loving puppy and ready for her forever home!

Topper...seriously one of the sweetest, calmest, most submissive dogs I have ever met. He doesn't bark, he is not hyper, he loves to cuddle, he is submissive with other dogs and never shows any aggression even if a dog is trying to be dominant with him, and is living with cats and kittens. He was picked up by animal control with a large gash on his neck. The shelter fixed him up but then he ran out of time and was placed on the euthanasia list. I am so glad I got him out because he is the best. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. This sweet boy is a total professional when it comes to kisses, cuddles, and long walks. While he gets a little wiggly and excited to gear up for an adventure, he is a complete gentleman the moment you hit the pavement; no pulling here! He is a strong, sturdy lad who knows how to use his size for affection; he will occasionally give you a lean with his body weight when he is excited to see you or ready to head out. He is not a big fan of going into the kennel and will dart out to see you when the door opens, so be ready for some love when he sees you are ready to interact! However, once he is in his kennel, his manners are impeccable. He is remarkably quiet, rarely barks, and will simply sit and observe, hoping to catch your eye for a little human connection. When in the yard, he is going to love zoomies, and will love to play He may not do well with cats since he is very fascinated with them, so check in with us about cat testing first to make sure he is the right for your family He was a total star at our recent adoption event, winning over volunteers and strangers alike with his waggy tail and gentle treat taking. The dogs he met all interacted well together, but he appreciates a slow, respectful introduction to ensure everyone is on the same page. He is currently at our Fort Lupton Shelter and is waiting for his forever home!
