Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Classic, sophisticated, and years of experience being a good girl, I'm Miracle! As a mature 10-year-old boxer/lab mix, I have many wonderful gifts for my new family. I hope you will read about me and give me the opportunity to meet you and show you how special I am. I am a graduate of a wonderful and comprehensive dog training program, where I learned all of my basic commands (and a few fancy ones, too) so I could be fully prepared to be the best girl I can be for my new home! I walk amazingly well on a leash, and I love checking out the neighborhood of my foster home with my foster sister, but I can also be 100% couch potato. I am fully crate trained and can sleep all night in my crate (full disclosure: my favorite spot is to sleep snuggled up to my 13-year-old human foster sister). My ideal home would be one with lots of love. I love attention, pets, snuggles. Keeping up with my amazing training skills is easy as I am very food motivated! I am currently fostered in a home with one other dog, and I have become BFF's with her. Through proper introductions, I get along well with other dogs. I love my foster sibling and would do well with another dog similar in size to me who also likes to wrestle and play (please check out my videos). I am a lover, not a barker, with such a sweet disposition that everyone loves. My ideal home can absolutely include older children, as I do love kids! Due to my lack of awareness of size, I could unintentionally knock over little ones. My foster home has a 13-year-old girl who lets me sleep on her bed, and I happily greet all her friends who come to visit! All her friends say I’m their favorite! All in all, I’m a very easygoing, happy girl who wants a family to call my own! If that sounds like you, I hope to meet you soon! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1174512##

Story
0321093 - Hi!  This sweet girl is Zoey (or "Zo Zo" as we call her in her foster home).  Zoey came to Colorado from New Mexico and is ready to find her forever home.  Zoey is a 4-5 year old boxer mix and weighs roughly 50lbs.  She is a very precious and sweet girl who loves affection, loves to give kisses and loves to get belly rubs.  She will follow you around the house to see what you are up to (and to be by your side).  She will also cuddle up next to you and let you love on her all day long!   Zoey is crate trained, potty trained, sleeps all night and likes to go on short leashed walks to take in the new sights and scents of Colorado.  She is also spayed and UTD on her vaccines.   Zoey has two foster doggy siblings.  Although they are all working on getting along, she is still a bit testy with them.  She may be happiest as an only dog, but if you have a mellow dog she may also do fine with a proper introduction to make sure that everyone gets along.  She has been introduced to her two kitty foster siblings, and doesn't show much interest so a home with cats would be fine.   Zoey would do best in calm environment where someone is home most of the day.  Zoey needs to be given the love and affection that she deserves and she promises to love and be grateful to you in return.   If you have the perfect home for this precious sweet pea, please fill out an adoption application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##2083574##

Story
Meet Penny! Her foster parents call her Sweet P for a reason - she is the cuddliest, most loving girl you'll ever meet. Her favorite things are playing fetch, zoomies around the yard, and snuggling with her foster parents on the couch. She absolutely adores being around her humans. She’s such a special girl and she’s so eager for love! She’s very low maintenance when at home, give her a blanket to snuggle under, a chew toy, and some pets and she’s content! Penny can display some leash reactivity but her foster parents are working on it with her and it's quickly improving! She also demonstrated some resource guarding behaviors in the past so would likely do best in a home without other pets. ##1528906##

Story
Are you ready to give a sweet, shy girl the forever home she deserves? Let us introduce you to Carly, a resilient boxer mix with a heart full of love just waiting to bloom! Although Carly’s past has left her a little hesitant and unsure, she’s ready to put her trust in the right family who will give her the patience, care, and support she needs to shine. Carly is house-trained, loves playing in the yard, and adores going for walks. She enjoys the company of other dogs and plays well with them, though she takes her time to warm up to new humans. Once she’s comfortable, Carly reveals her true gentle nature, showing just how loving and loyal she can be. She’s still learning the ropes of crate training and commands, but with time, we know she'll become the perfect companion. Carly sleeps peacefully on her dog bed in our bedroom, and her calm demeanor makes her a great fit for an adult-only home where she can continue to heal. While Carly hasn’t been around kids yet, she’s eager to find a family that will help her learn what it means to be a happy, well-adjusted dog. She may be a little shy at first, but with your love, Carly will transform into the sweet, trusting companion you've been waiting for. Carly is a gentle soul with so much potential. If you're looking for a dog who will appreciate every moment of affection, every walk, and every new experience, Carly could be your perfect match. Ready to take this sweet girl on her journey to healing and happiness? ##2079201##

Story
Sheba loves a lot of things, not least of all people and kids.  She is very athletic and is always up for walkies, games, and any sort of play.  Sheba is also usually ready for food & snacks, there are unverified reports of counter surfing, but she lawyered up and the mystery has been left unsolved.  When she takes a break from being active, Sheba loves snuggles, belly rubs, and easy toys like a food puzzle.   Sheba will require slow introductions with other animals. She loves attending her training classes and the rescue will provide 3 free training sessions to ensure a successful transition into her new family. She will thrive in an environment that will give her strong boundaries and expectations.  She enjoys pleasing her humans and can do well when she has goals.  Sheba could probably do well as an agility dog and/or a therapy dog. Sheba has had two instances of heartworm and was successfully treated.  She will need to be on meds the rest of her life and we can talk with interested adopters more about this.   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website - https://demisanimalrescue.com/demis-adoption-application/  All dogs are spayed/neutered, mircochipped, heartworm tested (if over 6 months old) and up to date on vaccinations (combo shot, bordetella, rabies(if age appropriate)  ##2211597##
