Story
Tyson is a beautiful 4-month-old white and brindle Boxer Pit Bull Terrier mix, weighing in at 19 pounds of pure joy and energy! This little guy is highly intelligent, eager to please, and always ready for his next adventure. He’s got a ton of puppy energy, so he loves to run, jump, and play all day long.Tyson is great with other dogs, cats, and kids, making him a fantastic addition to just about any family. He’s doing really well with his leash training, house training, and crate training, though he’s still young and learning the ropes. He’s incredibly observant and picks up on new things quickly, especially if treats are involved—he’s super food-motivated! He’s already working on "sit" and gets it right most of the time.Like a true Boxer, Tyson loves to "talk" and has an adorable way of expressing himself with little grumbles and playful noises. He’s also a big fan of toys! Squeaky toys, ropes, and balls are some of his favorites, and he enjoys carrying them around and playing fetch. He also does really well with durable stuffed toys—he plays with them rather than trying to tear them to shreds. But don’t let all that energy fool you—Tyson is also a major cuddle bug! After a long day of playing, he’ll happily curl up in your lap for some snuggles. If you’re looking for a fun, smart, and affectionate pup who will keep you laughing and active, Tyson might just be your perfect match. Come meet him today and see if he’s the one for you! 🐾💕 You can also call the shelter at 479-394-5682 to find out more about me.****************All animals at HSO are current on their vaccinations and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. If not already spayed/neutered, there may be a short delay between when you select this pet and when they are ready to go home.Breed and age are determined based on observable physical traits. Actual lineage and birth date are rarely known.Adoption Fees:-$60 for cats-$60 for dogs over 6 years-$80 for dogs 6 months old to 6 years-$100 for puppies up to 6 monthsCome visit our pets Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-2pm.

Story
Nova is super sweet and craves attention.  She is a year old and full grown at 40 pounds. Nova is very playful and funny.  She came from a home that had very little time for her and was kept in a pen most of her life.  In spite of that, she is very friendly, smart, and loves her inside room and tennis balls to play with. She is not house trained, but most outside dogs learn very quickly.  She is good with other dogs, chases cats (not aggressive), and good with kids.  If given a chance she would make a great family pet.  We were told her mother was a Pit-Boxer and dad a Pit-Husky.  If you would like more information, please contact the shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at scshpets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.February 15, 2025, 2:59 pm
