Story
Hello, I’m Cinnamon! I think the name Cinnamon is the perfect name for me because I am a handsome “cinnamon” color! I was rescued as I roamed around a neighborhood. My kind rescuer was doing her morning walk and she had seen me on several occasions looking for food and shelter. Finally one morning she saw me and was able to put a leash on me! Then, she brought me to the shelter. When she brought me in she said that I was a “big, sweet baby!” Of course she was right! I was never claimed by my family and now I am available for adoption. I am a boxer/terrier mix and I am about eighteen months old. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. When you meet me, just try to picture me on your couch! I think I am pretty much a “couch potato!”

Story
Addie is a 7-month-old female Boxer mix who must be spayed before adoption. She was an owner turn in because her owner no longer wanted her.  Addie is brown and white; and a strikingly pretty dog.  She weighs approximately 50 pounds so she is a medium sized dog.  At 7 months old--she is still growing so we believe she will be large adult dog.  Addie is very sweet and affectionate.  She craves attention and loves to be near you.  Addie would be fine with other dogs and older children.  She is quite active and playful so she would appreciate a securely fenced yard where she could play.  Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  January 25, 2025, 1:08 pm

Story
Hi there! My name is Nick and I am so happy to meet you! I am a three-year-old terrier mix that is currently homeless! I am sure I had a home, but I was roaming a neighborhood a while back and kept getting into things in other people's yards. My kind rescuer looked and looked for my owners, but could never find them. She knew the best place for me to start over was at the shelter. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. I am a good boy that needs lots of exercise and consistent training on some good doggie manners! I am a "love" that is just waiting for the right person to walk in and adopt me!

Story
Wow!! Do I have a story to tell! I was walking around a neighborhood here in town and I was looking really lost and confused. I am a chunky boy, but definitely I was looking for something or someone as I walked the sidewalks. An Animal Control officer actually passed by me and thought I looked like I needed some help. She came over to talk to me. While she put the leash on me, she started knocking on nearby doors. Finally someone told her that my owner had recently passed away. I guess I was out roaming the neighborhood hoping I might find him. She brought me back to the shelter hoping I could get a fresh start with a new owner. I am about two years old. If you would like to meet me, just fill out the adoption application and send it in online. Someone will contact you to set up a time to meet me! I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. Please continue to adopt! When I am adopted and leave my dog run another dog will have the chance to find their "forever" home, too! Just ask for Zaxby!!

Story
Hello, my name is Roxy! I was brought to the shelter by one of the nice deputies of Animal Control. He picked me up right out of the street. I am glad to be safely waiting with my new friends! I am a two-year-old terrier mix. If you think you would like to meet me go to our website at www.montgomeryhumane.com and fill out the adoption application and send it in online. The shelter made sure I had all of my vaccinations, that I had a microchip, and that I was spayed. One little problem did show up on my health check up. I am heartworm positive! I am not worried. I know the shelter will be with me throughout my treatment. Please call and ask about me. FYI...I have already started my heartworm treatment!!
