Story
Stella may be a little in her shell when you first meet, but she is readily won over with food and soon shows you her fun side! She is a playful girl who has some energy to burn, but she'll help you out - she likes to take the leash and walk herself! This smarty is treat-motivated and would be fun to teach tricks. She shows signs of being housetrained and has been friendly with males dogs (only). Stella would do best with a solid fence, as she likes to protect her property - but only behind a fence for extra courage!  ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  Sep 2021 ~  Intake Weight:  45# (thin)~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Bonnie is a playful girl who loves fetch and other dogs. Once she has bonded with you, she will also love hanging out on the couch. Bonnie is goofy, funny, and also smart - she already knows sit and down, and is easy to train (she loves earning treats!).    ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  Feb 2019  ~  Est Weight:  50#  ~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Story
Jet really likes people, so he works his very best to be the bravest boy. He will be your shadow and loves to have someone to hang out with. He also loves his treats, and has been learning his basic behaviors to make his new family happy. A confident dog in the home can also give him courage and show him the ropes. ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~ Est DOB: Dec 2021~ Intake Weight: 55#~ Adoption details: calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Story
Bruce is a big beefy lap dog dog! This hunk has a medium energy level, so his size won't overwhelm you (except when he is trying to get in your lap). Plus he is a very well mannered good boy. He loves playing fetch but also enjoys snuggles and belly rubs. Despite being perhaps the biggest kid on the block, he is still young enough that he needs guidance in new situations - a little praise and encouragement from his best bud (that's you!) and he is good to go! For dog friends, he prefers a relaxed companion who likes to just hang out.   ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB: Nov 2023 ~  Intake Weight:  78#~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Story
Dj is a 2 year old that looks like a Boxer/ Lab mix boy! His mother was rescued by animal control from an abuse situation and she had 8 beautiful puppies while in the pound when they were charging her owner. Mother and puppies were brought to the rescue as soon as they could be released from animal control and all are thriving! There mother is 30 lbs and looks like a bull terrier or shar pei mix because she has such a rounded face. Dj weighs about 45 lbs.  DJ is one of bigger pups and most laid back of the group. He loves to be right next to you. He is playful and loves to eat. Neither he or his siblings destroy durable toys but they will shred a sheet or tent.  He is not good with male dogs but is good with cats and kids. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $250. November 3, 2024, 8:52 am
