Story
Boxie is the most incredible dog. She has joyful personality and is great with kids! She absolutely loves adventures, but is also content staying home. You'll often find her smiling and wagging her tail. She loves people and is super caring. She's an instant best friend to other dogs and has stayed with cats without any issues. We are moving and unable to take her with us. We hope to find a loving home for her. She will be a joy to anyone that adopts her! She really does make that saying "dogs are man's best friend" a reality! We will have a nice bed, kennel (though she's great at home so we don't use it), leash, and dog care essentials, along with all her vet records and latest heart worm / flea preventative prescriptions. It's important to us that we provide all you need to continue giving her a wonderful home. If you have any questions, let us know!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.This handsome, good boy is Truman and he came to us as a dumped stray.  We believe Truman was born around 1/18/22 and is a stunning black with white Boxer/Bully mix.  Truman is very sweet, friendly and loving and will make a wonderful addition to almost any home.  Truman is a young boy and likes to play with other dogs but we have not had him around cats (if you submit your application, we can cat test).  We took Truman to our Amazing Vets because we noticed his tail looks 'wonky'.  Well after x-rays, it looks like he has a congenital issue with some of the vertebrae in a couple spots on his tail. This deformity in his tail is not bothering him at all now, but we want to mention that he may need amputation of his tail later in life, if it causes arthritic related problems. Truman is a medium sized dog, so we like to recommend a home with a fenced in backyard and/or plans for daily exercise and socialization. If you're not in a position to adopt, Truman would love to be in a Foster home while waiting for his forever home! Amazing Grace Bully Rescue is a foster based rescue in the Pensacola, Florida area.  We do not have a physical building. He was found in Coral Creek but no owner came forward so now he's looking for his forever home! Zeppelin gets along with pretty much anything with legs with the exception of chickens. UPDATE!!&#226&#156&#168 Meet Mac! This handsome cutie was found by Good Samaritans who took him in and reached out for help. He’s an adorable 14 week old Boxer mix. He’s playful and sweet! Gets along great with everything. Mac is super smart and doing well with training for his age. He’s utd, neutered and ready for a home to call his own.  Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, ect. can lead to accidents even with the most well trained animals.  All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy!  Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. This deposit is applied to your adoption fee and the remaining $125 is due at pick up. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquires and applications!
