Story
Dj is a 2 year old that looks like a Boxer/ Lab mix boy! His mother was rescued by animal control from an abuse situation and she had 8 beautiful puppies while in the pound when they were charging her owner. Mother and puppies were brought to the rescue as soon as they could be released from animal control and all are thriving! There mother is 30 lbs and looks like a bull terrier or shar pei mix because she has such a rounded face. Dj weighs about 45 lbs.  DJ is one of bigger pups and most laid back of the group. He loves to be right next to you. He is playful and loves to eat. Neither he or his siblings destroy durable toys but they will shred a sheet or tent.  He is not good with male dogs but is good with cats and kids. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $250. January 12, 2025, 10:34 pm

Its been almost 15 months since he was saved His mother two sisters and 3 brothers have all found homes. Now its his turn. Oscar weighs 45 pounds and will be 2 yrs old mid December. Story
This is Mary. Sweet girl came into the shelter pregnant about 10 weeks ago after her owner passed away. She was extremely fortunate in finding a foster home where she delivered her puppies. The puppies have been weaned and adopted. Now it’s Mary’s turn to find what she deserves and needs, a forever home! Little Mary is a young adult, boxer and terrier mix and only 30 pounds. Her ideal weight is around 36 pounds. Mary lived with two other dogs and does incredibly well with other dogs. She has done great with the children in her foster home. Mary is house trained! Her foster mom describes Mary as, “ She just wants to be loved on. She has a very calm and quiet personality. Mary is initially timid and can scare easily but she warms up quickly. She is an easy girl to take care of and obedient. She loves chew toys, treats, naps, snuggles, and food.” Little Miss Mary is working on getting her figure back at this time. Pictures are of her while pregnant and a recent picture at the start of the weaning process. Mary is heartworm positive but treatment is simple and straight forward. Clinic staff can explain the process or you may have Mary treated at a vet of your choice. Adoption fee includes her vaccines, dewormer, wellness exam and her spay. Please call Guntersville Animal Hospital at 256-582-3184 to arrange a meet and greet.

Story
My name is Tymber, and I'm a charming brindle-boxer mix with a delightful curled tail. Although I'm on the smaller side for a boxer, my playful spirit shines through! I adore spending time with people, but unfortunately, I was abandoned by my previous owner. Thankfully, I found a kind soul who took me in and foster me until a spot opened up at Summit's. They got me neutered and updated on all my shots. I am now ready to spend my life with you!! Adoption fee $200 (chipped, fixed, updated on shots) Please visit our website www.summitssanctuary.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.
