Story
Dj is a 2 year old that looks like a Boxer/ Lab mix boy! His mother was rescued by animal control from an abuse situation and she had 8 beautiful puppies while in the pound when they were charging her owner. Mother and puppies were brought to the rescue as soon as they could be released from animal control and all are thriving! There mother is 30 lbs and looks like a bull terrier or shar pei mix because she has such a rounded face. Dj weighs about 45 lbs.  DJ is one of bigger pups and most laid back of the group. He loves to be right next to you. He is playful and loves to eat. Neither he or his siblings destroy durable toys but they will shred a sheet or tent.  He is not good with male dogs but is good with cats and kids. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $250. November 3, 2024, 8:52 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you are interested in any of the FFOSK9 pups,  the first step is to fill out an application at  http://www.ffosk9resq.org/info/adoption . We believe Elmo might just have some Boxer mix in him. He was a bit timid in the beginning too but he has come around to trusting us at his foster home. He loves racing his brother Ernie when tossing toys, especially balls and knotted ropes and playing tug of war with him. Elmo currently weighs 40 pounds is neutered, tested negative for heartworms, up to date on all vaccines, and he has been on his monthly prevention for heartworms, flea, ticks and parasites.   Adoption Fee is $325 to help cover the cost of vetting, neuter, vaccines and preventatives as well as daily needs. Application must be submitted prior to being considered to adopt.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to "outside only" homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets.  All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates.   October 25, 2024, 1:35 pm

Story
GAH HAS WAIVED TWIX’S ADOPTION FEE‼️ Hiya world!!! The girls here have decide to name me Twix. 💙 I am around 2 years old and appear to have some boxer in me. I am goofy, and very loving! I love to roll and roll and roll all in the grass. I would make a fantastic companion! The girls here are still trying to fatten me up, right now I weigh 50lbs but 60lbs is ideal! My health check turned out great and I was heartworm negative!! The girls gave me some yummy heartgard and flea/tick prevention. I am also already neutered! So basically, I'm the perfect boy just waiting for my perfect home. I do well with other dogs and haven’t meet a human I don’t love. I have playful energy but can settle down after some excitement. Twix’s adoption fee is $95 which includes: Dapp and Rabies vaccine, fecal and dewormer, heartworm test (negative), and wellness check. All services have already be done and he is ready to be adopted! Guntersville Animal Hospital, 1609 Henry St, Guntersville. 256-582-3184.
