Oliver has a happy personality, does everything in a speedy way and can be quite chatty. (which is funny)! He is kennel trained(loves it actually)!! Sleeps in it all night and loves going for refuge there. Ever since he has been neutered he has not had an accident in the house (he would mark occasionally prior but not anymore). He loves the backyard and sniffs everything! Walks well on a leash and rides nicely in the car. He is a real snuggle bug!! (Snores like a train🤪). He eats meals w our pack so he has no food aggression and waits for his meals nicely. He doesn’t really engage w our dogs, he is more of a people motivated dog. He also ignores our cats which is great! He is learning more each day to be a dog and is gaining confidence from it. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. After losing her elderly owner, Pearl was transferred to American Boston Terrier Rescue & Rehabilitation (ABTRR) from another rescue due to significant behavioral challenges. She was anxious, aggressive toward other dogs, and obsessively hoarded toys—behaviors rooted in fear and uncertainty. But Pearl’s story didn’t end there. Thanks to the unwavering patience, training, and love of her ABTRR foster family, Pearl has blossomed into a completely different dog. She’s learned boundaries, built trust, and now enjoys the company of other dogs. Her anxiety has eased, and her playful spirit shines through—especially when she’s swimming, one of her favorite activities. Pearl also loves car rides and has become a joyful, loyal companion. He was heartworm positive when he arrived, but he has been treated and recently tested negative, so he's finally available for adoption! He can be a bit testy with other male dogs, so a meet & greet will be required. He is also a rough-and-tumble boy who plays hard, so if there are other dogs in the home, it's important that they be able to keep up.
