Odin is a Boston/Frenchie (Frenchton) Must live within 30 minutes of Maryville, TN to be considered. Multiple trips maybe necessary for Odin to accept new people. His fosters say, "We have a very special boy on our hands named Odin. He will be 3 years old on October 30 and as sweet as can be, once you become his person. We don’t exactly know his past, but he has a small issue of what we’re referring to as “Stranger Danger”. When he meets new people he becomes protective of his “people” and aggressive towards the “stranger”. Once he gets to know you though, he loves you to pieces, becomes your shadow and your personal snuggle buddy and you become his best friend. Whoever would be interested in him would need to be extremely patient with him and probably have to meet with us/him several times, before he would start to become comfortable with you. His ideal home would be someone who wouldn’t have a lot of visitors, due to the “stranger danger” and no small children. He does fine with other dogs, but not sure of cats. He does have a prey drive to small moving things such as moths, bees, flies, lizards and frogs (and sometimes leaves… lol)". Potential adopters would not be able to take him into public areas such as dog parks, social events or retail trips. Very playful and happy energetic fella! Needs a lot of attention and love. He is a puppy so he has the zoomies frequently and he is nippy out of playfulness not aggressiveness, but he is learning. Nipping can hurt due to tiny teeth, so I would not recommend a family with babies or toddlers. He gets along with other dogs but he’s young and annoys them (lol). He is vocal and likes to bark to get his way. We joke he is sassy. He is QUITE the character and Bostons are known for being energetic but he takes that to a whole new level. He is a lot of fun. Rehoming due to our older rescue being too aggressive with him along with some human health problems making it difficult to keep them separated. He is 90% potty trained and is crate trained for sleeping at night. He will come with his crate. Eats Pedigree puppy food.

We brought Charles home in June of 2018 to our small family of 3 back when we lived in Washington State. Charles came from a private purebred Boston Terrier breeder in Oregon. He was just 8 weeks old at the time. We loved him right away! Since then, we’ve grown as a family. We now have 4 children and are expecting our 5th. I (the wife) am homeschooling full time, running a home, and taking care of the littles throughout the day while my husband runs our non-profit and travels for work. Our life is becoming more and more full with responsibilities, and unfortunately, Charles is getting less play time and focused attention from us. We hope to find him a family that offers him the love and attention he deserves! Important: Charles had his right eye removed a year ago due to a bite he received in the face from another dog. He’d run out of the house to say hi to another dog being walked in our neighborhood, and the dog bit him in the face. However, Charles is still sweet and good natured!
