Story
We saw Grasshopper on an Oregon rehoming page and found out he was being kept in a too small crate where he couldn't even stand up fully and was not being fed regularly. This funny, outgoing boy weighed in at just 17 pounds when we took him in and his spine, ribs and hip bones were prominent. Despite his neglectful situation, Grasshopper is a sponge for love and attention! He just wants to be everyone's friend! - 17 pounds but should be 19 pounds and approximately 10 months old - Petite, leggy guy. He looks much bigger in his photos but he's a smaller size. Our best guess on breed mix is Boston Terrier/Chihuahua and Pit Bull. He is darling and gets compliments everywhere he goes. - Social butterfly with all people and is happy and eager to greet everyone - Excellent with other dogs and loves to play. He is currently fostered with 5 dogs and does well with both large and small dog friends. - Great with children and could be a fun little friend for a home with gentle kids that want a nice dog to pal around with. - Cat workable. He will playfully chase cats but this could be worked on with the right owner. He has never hurt a cat. - Crate trained. Does whine in the crate initially but settles down. - Loves to snuggle with you on the couch or bed - Walks nice on leash - Potty habits are doing pretty well - LOVES toys and to play tug and fetch - Does some cute "talking" and vocalizing to greet people Grasshopper will be neutered at our vet on April 7th. He is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner vet clinics in Oregon City, Portland, Milwaukie or Tualatin. $350 adoption fee Fostered in Vancouver, Washington APPLY TO ADOPT GRASSHOPPER ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG

Story
Blue is a 6 year old female Boston Terrier/Mini Aussie mix... a Baussie! She is a sweet and affectionate dog. She will dance for her food in the morning! She can at times be a little food aggressive, but she has lived with her buddy Banner her entire life and they are best friends. I'm hoping to adopt them out together. She loves people and is very loyal. She loves to play and chew on her toys. She is house trained. She goes in and out through a doggie door. We got her as a companion to our other dog but now due to unforeseen circumstances her family must move and cannot take our dogs with us. She will be greatly missed.

Story
Snoop is a spirited 1.5 year old young man. He is playful, sweet and feisty. He is very strong willed. I attempted some training classes with him, But (because of a stroke) I don’t have the strength, stamina, or consistency to get his learned skills to always stick. I acquired snoop from a craigslist post a year ago. At that time The owner stated he was six months old. A Halloween puppy 2023. His previous owner gave no records on this sweet boy. Since adopting Snoop i have gotten him microchipped and vaccinated. He is still an intact male. He is a sweetheart of a boy that wants to please his people. He does routinely urinate outside, it’s just the occasional defecation in his create while I have been at work too long. I would love to see him in an active home. Going on walks and hikes, busy play and enjoying all the adventures he can handle. Loves car rides!!!
