Story
Due to her predominant breed being a PUG we will give priority to homes with BRACHYCEPHALIC BREED EXPERIENCE Vi Located in Sidney NE areaPug4 years old (born in 2019)Not the biggest fan of other dogs but is tolerantNot sure on cat friendliness Good with children with dog manners House trainedCrate trained (in fact she loves it) & knows basic commands Dominant personality with other dogsLoves to bring you rocks as presents Does squawk like a bird on crack when she wants attentionFunny personality and very charismatic   Does NOT share food VERY PROTECTIVE of her Palace aka crate Not overly toy interested however if she is interested she does NOT share well  Does have dental issues. She’s had a dental but her teeth will need to be watchedFully vetted12lbs approx    Have you been thinking “Gosh, I wish I had a dog that is a complete princess. A delightful doll baby that talks back, is a drama queen, and has, and loudly expresses, her opinions?” Then Vi is the girl for you! Don’t get me wrong, Vi has a lot of positives, mainly that she's shaped like a potato, loves to cuddle and snores Vi needs to find her FURever home. Vi was surrendered for not being dog friendly! Since her surrender this deliciously adorable lady’s been going through rehab regarding her negative reactivity. Vi does well with dogs in short spurts however she doesn’t share well. We are working on sharing our ppl with other dogs however she is a work in progress. She does fine on walks and playing outside for long periods of time with a large group of other dogs, it’s mostly an inside issue. Like Joey from “Friends,” Vi does NOT share food, she’s super admit about it. She also doesn’t like other 4 legged commoners in her personal palace aka crate. She absolutely ADORES her crate and goes in willingly to nap or sleep at night. Vi just believes with her hilarious personality and stunning exotic looks that she should be a main focus and demands it. She also isn’t a quiet girl, she has lots of opinions and expresses them… loudly, like a squawking bird on crack. Vi is not a good dog for an apt or any home that shares a wall.    So if you’re interested in a darling and super lovable lil spicy nugget who has a lot of opinions, that she will tell you, whether you want to hear them or not Vi is your girl and ready to snort and snore her way into your heart!   http://www.highplainspaw.org https://www.facebook.com/HighPlainsPAW : https://www.facebook.com/groups/836373273962895/?ref=share https://www.highplainspaw.org/adoption-application   https://www.highplainspaw.org/foster-application highplainspaw@gmail.com (402)957-1578  . .     $400.00 Adoption Fee  (Which is considered a non refundable donation and being we are a 501c3 organization it is tax deductible. The fee itself is not negotiable, our vets don't negotiate and thus neither do we.)  Due to her predominant breed being a PUG we will give priority to homes with BRACHYCEPHALIC BREED EXPERIENCE. Further all our brachycephalic dogs MUST vet at an AAHA certified vet, this is because of their extreme vet needs. Brachycephalic dogs are extremely expensive dogs to upkeep so please bare that in mind when applying and make sure you're in a financial place to take it on. Due to Vi being a Brachycephalic dog  , , . This is to protect the dog, your family from losing the dog and the rescue from a high amount of medical returns. We recommend Lemonade, Embrace, Fetch and Trupanion. If you need assistance acquiring insurance please feel free to contact us, we are happy to help!  means, altered, up to date on vaccines, HW tested if applicable and on flea/tick preventative (chemical or natural, aka no buggies)    , . This means there is no place for you to go in person to view our dogs. We ask that an application be filled out and we will go from there!   , , the adopter pick the dog up in person and DRIVE or FLY ( ) the dog back at the adopters expense. We do coordinate transport.    ’ . .   ’ , . . , . ##1399498##
