Story
Hi everyone, I’m Mukluk! My name is wintery, but my personality is all sunshine! I’m about 20 weeks old, 30-35 pounds, and have a very happy demeanor. My foster family is a hoot and teaching me so much. There are 3 dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels, and I get along with all 3. (I also spent a week with a family that had kids and had zero issues being around little humans). I don’t need another dog, but I do think it would be amazing to have another dog in the home to pal around with because I love playing! My humans tell me I’m smart because I know what to do when they tell me to, “go potty,” but sometimes when I play hard or get really excited, I have an accident. My foster family has all kinds of dog toys and bones around the house, and I share very well without any signs of being possessive. My favorite has been the little Lamb Chop stuffie. I’ve been going on leashed walks and really like it. It’s extra easy when I go with the foster pack because they show me what to do. I’m working on some commands like sit, stay, and here (aka come). It’s hard, but I’m getting the hang of it, especially when I get offered a small treat for following directions. I LOVE treats! I had something call a nail trim, which I guess can be scary for other dogs, but I didn’t even notice! I sleep in a crate at night and when my humans have to leave, and so far haven’t had any accidents, but I sometimes like to talk a bit before I settle in. I also have been to an adoption event where there were new sounds, smells, and other dogs, and I had no problems hanging out with my foster mom and greeting other friendly pups. My foster mom & dad tell me all the time that I’m a cute, friendly, funny, and floppy little puppy and will make a family very happy. If you need a little ray of sunshine in your life, look no further! --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption.
