Story
Charlotte Good with dogs, cats, kids. Great in kennel. Cautious in beginning with men but once comfortable, very loving. She is still very much getting comfortable with surroundings and will NOT walk on leash so will need a yard while she gets trained. She needs an adopter with patience as she is easily spooked. Charlotte came to the rescue with a broken leg and was pregnant. She was likely hit by a car as her uterus had ruptured and had to be spayed immediately. She has a strong and very sweet spirit and will make someone's family complete. She LOVES kids and is good with other dogs. She has come very far with me in the short time she has been here so I know she will only gain more trust as time goes on. We have no idea what kind of situation she came from other than neglectful, so lets find her the BEST home!! Only the best need apply :) ADOPT DON'T SHOP!!! HER LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!! Local adoption fee is $500 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $800 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Story
Welcome Pumpkin to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 2-year old Boston Terrier/Lab or Cattle Dog is our best estimate. She has a rounded head with an upturned nose which has helped us come to this breed mix. She knows sit and will sit nicely for a treat. She likes treats and takes them nicely out of your hand. She likes toys and will give up her toy easily. She is good on leash even though she does pull some. She is very happy and really likes attention. She is good with the dogs that she has met at the shelter. She is also good in her kennel. She is an adorable dog and will make some lucky family a wonderful companion. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is vaccinated, spayed, healthy and ready for her forever home. She would be a great family companion and would be great with a moderately active family. She is active but will calm down and be relaxed after a small amount of activity. She in our opinion a perfect dog. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She moderately sheds and weighs about 40 pounds. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.    Hi there! I’m Boston Cream Pie, a 4-year-old female Boston Terrier weighing in at a petite 20 lbs. I’m still learning about life as a family pet and enjoy a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. When there’s a lot of noise, I prefer to quietly sit in my crate and come out to explore once things calm down. Because of this, I’d do best in a home with no kids or only older kids who understand my need for tranquility. I’m a bit nervous around new people but I’m very tolerant. I do better when I have another dog to follow around, though I don’t interact with them much. I’m just starting to learn about toys and treats—I love picking up toys and shaking them as hard as I can! I don’t really play with them beyond that, but I REALLY like bones and bully sticks. I prefer eating my meals in peace, without anyone watching me, but I do sneak a bite from the other dogs’ bowls when everyone’s around. I’m working on my potty training and doing well on a schedule. I’m also crate trained and feel safe in my crate. I don't need a fenced yard if you promise to keep working on leash trianing with me. I am starting to figure out how to go forward and will follow the other dogs when we all go for a walk. Having another dog around helps me learn the ropes, get into a routine and learn to trust people. One of my best qualities is that I rarely bark. I’m a calm and sweet girl, very gentle when taking treats, and would be a great addition to a quiet home. If you’re looking for a gentle, watchful companion who enjoys a peaceful environment, I might be the perfect match for you! *Please note that some of our dogs are obtained from shelters, surrendered to our care, or released from breeders. Each animal's bio is based on our experience of the animal within our care, an educated guess based on physical characteristics, temperament and information shared. Each dog receives basic grooming when coming into rescue, but for some dogs they have not received grooming attention until recently and grooming may be required shortly after adoption. This will be at the adopter’s expense, so we encourage you to research the breed and be prepared for grooming expenses. Underdog cannot guarantee hypoallergenic or non-shedding qualities of any dogs in our rescue. Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog whose bio states those needs and do not currently have them, please understand that your home might not be the right fit. Please use the filter on our Adoptable Dogs page to find the perfect match for your home.    ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee: $400 plus tax Cypress has an incredible zest for life and loves being included in whatever his person is doing! His big, bright smile has the power to turn any frown upside down. This good boy brings the fun no matter what the situation.    He loves to chase the ball around the yard and is so fast that none of his foster siblings comes remotely close to matching his speed! He LOVES going for car rides and does well in the car. Walks are another popular activity… what dog doesn’t like walks right? However, Cypress practically goes into orbit when his leash gets brought out!  It’s a spectacle to behold for sure – truly amazing!   He RACES into his crate when it’s mealtime and is a pro at staying in his crate when he's left at home. He's over the puppy chewing stage though so he sometimes gets to stay out in the bedroom when his foster owners go out.   He sometimes needs a gradual introduction to new dogs because he gets so excited that he’s not sure if he should be afraid or be playful.  He has had dogs gang up on him before so he’s unsure if he needs to defend himself at first.  He has been introduced to several new dogs in his current foster home and gets used to new ones within a couple of days now.  In his foster home, he has good doggie manners and doesn't try to play with the ones that tell him they'd rather not play at the moment.   He is pretty good at meeting strangers, although every once in a while he gets afraid of men. Doesn’t take long to change his mind though if treats are involved. He has met a handful of different aged kids and he seems to enjoy getting attention from them. He’s not very big but he is a ball of energy so he might be too bouncy for toddlers.    Whoever adopts this boy will have no choice but to smile every day when they look at his smiling face and see his wiggle butt!       Check out my videos! Adoptable dog Cypress is a wiggle butt - YouTube Adoptable dog Cypress- having fun - YouTube  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  or    *The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called 'cute' as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.  *Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.  Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. //
