To apply for a dog from All Dog Rescue, please fill out our online application at www.AllDogMN.org.  All Dog Rescue only adopts to homes within 60-miles of the Twin Cities. Visit our FAQ page to learn why. Meet Kirby! This wonderful, friendly 5-month-old pup is looking for his forever home.Kirby loves playing with other dogs and would be happiest with a canine companion. He also enjoys adventures and makes a great travel buddy. Walks? He has a bit of a love/hate relationship with them&#194&#151he won't be too disappointed if he skips one, but he still needs exercise. What he does love is spending time outside!Kirby is fully deaf and has experienced two seizures, most likely related to his deafness. He now takes an inexpensive medication three times a day and has had no further issues. The seizures may be temporary, or they could continue as he grows&#194&#151it's just too soon to tell. What's most important is that his forever family can provide a supportive environment for his deafness (using hand signals and plenty of patience!) while also keeping an eye on his health. This smart boy is already picking things up quickly! He knows how to sit&#194&#151especially for food&#194&#151and has learned signs for 'let's go/come,' 'food,' 'outside,' 'stay,' and 'potty.' While walks aren't his favorite, he's making steady progress with leash training and does well when he sees other dogs or people&#194&#151curious but calm.Kirby is also learning crate training. During the day, he does well and will happily go inside, though he may bark when he's ready to come out. At night, he still prefers to snuggle with the pack, especially now that he's more potty trained. Speaking of which&#194&#151he's doing great with house training! He occasionally has an accident but has even started going to the door when he needs to go outside.Something Kirby absolutely loves? Snuggles! He's happiest when curled up with his humans, playing with doggy friends, chewing sticks in the yard, or simply being close by. Because he's deaf, a fenced yard will be important for his safety while exploring outside.Kirby's perfect match will be someone who loves snuggles as much as he does and is also committed to ongoing training. Learning new signs has helped him blossom, and continuing that training will only make him more confident and connected to his people. This sweet, goofy boy is ready to bring joy, cuddles, and companionship to his forever family.November 18, 2025, 11:01 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi there! I’m Gambit. I’m a young, likely pug/Boston terrier mix with a BIG personality packed into a compact body. I love humans of all ages and dogs of all sizes, and I’m so happy to be living the good life indoors that I sometimes express my joy… enthusiastically. (Okay, yes, I might jump up when we first meet. I just get excited! Smaller kiddos may want to brace themselves.) I’m still working on my potty training, so I’ll need a patient human who believes in routines, consistency, and cheering me on when I get it right. I want to please you—I just need a little guidance to become my best self. I’m really not a fan of crates and have a lot to say about it when I’m put into one. Because of this, I’m probably not the best match for shared-wall living. The good news? I’m a champion bed sleeper and snooze peacefully through the night right next to you (or directly on top of you—details negotiable). I adore toys, get silly when I’m excited, and love being near my people at all times. Lap? Yes. Couch buddy? Absolutely. Following you from room to room like a shadow with wrinkles? That’s me. I’d thrive with: An active family who can help burn my energy A furry playmate to wrestle and romp with A home that appreciates goofy, affectionate dogs with opinions   If you’re looking for a hilarious, loving, slightly dramatic pup who will reward you with nonstop affection and loyalty, I might just be your guy!   Gambit is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 1/24/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 9am and noon. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame.  Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Lucy Lou is a gentle, affectionate little sweetheart who is just waiting for the right person to help her blossom. She’s incredibly cute (that underbite will steal your heart), very cuddly, and loves being close to her people. Once she feels safe, she’s a true lap dog who wants nothing more than love, reassurance, and companionship. Lucy Lou has a cautious, sensitive nature and may hesitate at first in new situations, but she looks to her humans for guidance and reassurance. With patience and consistency, she warms up and shows her goofy, playful side. She enjoys toys, does well in the car, and is crate trained — she’ll go into her crate willingly, though she may bark at first when confined or when she’s ready to come back inside. Once settled, she does fine. She is still working on potty training and will need an adopter who understands that progress may take time. A calm, structured routine and positive reinforcement will go a long way in helping Lucy Lou gain confidence and consistency. Obedience training would be a great confidence booster for her and help strengthen the bond with her adopter. Lucy Lou would do best in a stable, patient home where her gentle personality is appreciated. She’s not a good candidate for apartment living due to her vocal moments, but in the right home environment, she will thrive. She’s affectionate, even-tempered, and truly wants to please — she just needs someone willing to guide her with kindness. Lucy Lou is the kind of dog who will quietly steal your heart. With patience, love, and a little guidance, she will grow into a loyal, loving companion who is happiest curled up beside you, feeling safe and adored! Lucy Lou is from Texas.
