Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Picasso is a very sweet, loving boy that loves to cuddle with his people. He also likes to spend time outside but is not a candidate for daily walks. He does not like other dogs so he is very reactive on the leash. He needs a home with no other pets and no kids. Picasso is a shy boy when it comes to new visitors, he prefers women over men, and will need a quiet home with very little traffic. He is crate trained, up to date on shots, neutered and house trained. Picasso will not be a good fit for an apartment, townhouse or condo. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Picasso please fill out an online application. Questions to cbrookszy@yahoo.com Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. November 4, 2024, 7:53 am

Story
MEET HOPPER: Hopper is a charasmatic 1-year-old, 10lb Boston Terrier, who is ready to find his forever home! Hopper was surrendered from a hoarding and breeding situation, but despite his past, he is a sweet boy with a heart full of potential. Initially nervous and shy, Hopper is slowly becoming more confident with each passing day! He gets his name from the cute way he "hops" around during play! Hopper is looking for a patient family that can help him blossom. Due to his lack of leash experience, a secured, physical fenced yard is REQUIRED for his safety and happiness.  He would thrive best in an adult-only home or as he is not always a fan of being picked up especially if startled. Hopper has been great with the other dogs in his foster home and would truly benefit from a confident canine friend to help guide him! Hopper is learning house manners and is already crate trained. He loves to romp around outside and is eager to learn how to be a beloved family member. If you think you could provide Hopper the loving, supportive home he needs, please consider completing an adoption application!  Hopper is:Current on Rabies and DistemperDewormedHeartworm Tested: NegativeReceiving Heartworm and Flea PreventionMicrochippedNeuteredADOPTION FEE: $350 IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS PET, PLEASE COMPLETE THE APPROPRIATE APPLICATION FOUND ON OUR WEBSITE HTTP://FUREVERTAILS.COM. Unfortunately, at this time we are not currently adopting outside of the state of MI.
