Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Meet our sweet shy Lilly. This 10yo, 11lb. possible chihuahua/pug mix has lived a rough life. She has had at least one litter, maybe more. She's lived most of her life in a crate, along with her other fur siblings. She hasn't been able to enjoy all that a dog's life should be. She never learned to walk on a leash, therefore she does require a fenced yard. Amazingly, she does appear housebroken. She doesn't know what toys are. She has discovered what treats are though and can't get enough of them.  Sweet Lilly really wants to find her person. She is timid at first with new people and takes a bit to warm up, but we know once she adjusts, she will love with every fiber of her being. She loves loves to snuggle and sleep cuddled up next to her person. She has been in a home with other dogs, but because of her past, an only dog home or a calm other dog is preferred. She just wants to find her place in this great big world.  Maybe that is with you? If you believe you have the perfect forever home for Lilly, complete an app and tell us more about you.  March 18, 2026, 5:16 pm

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Who likes meatballs?!? Well, meet our resident 'meatball' Duck... or as we affectionately call him, Uncle Buck. And just like Uncle Buck, he's a chunky, jolly guy! Duck is a silly, goofy and lovable meatball that can sit and chill on the couch, or chill in his crate, which he loves. This approx. 10yo, 30lb. possible pug mix is housebroken, and loves his food and treats, and is always up for a walk. Duck loves every human he meets. He's met older children, but would be fine with respectable younger ones too. Duck is fine with chill dogs that don't 'crowd' him, but he doesn't need another dog to be happy. We are not sure about cats as he has not been around them. Duck is great in the car and won't argue if you want to take him for a Starbucks pup cup. This boy does have a minor condition called "cherry eyes" and we will have them repaired soon. Duck's foster mom says he is most chill, laid back and easiest dog that she has fostered. Duck will make a wonderful companion for someone and he can't wait to find a forever home of his own. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home awaiting Duck, complete an app and tell us more about you. March 29, 2026, 11:25 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Pepper – A Sweet French Bulldog with a Big Heart   Pepper is an adorable French Bulldog who was lovingly surrendered to Pet Rescue By Judy when her family could no longer care for her. She’s a gentle, affectionate girl who wins everyone over with her sweet personality and loving eyes.  Pepper has IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), a condition that affects her back. She is currently under the care of our wonderful chiropractor, Dr. Dana at The Animal Crackers, who is helping her stay comfortable and mobile.  She began treatment at the end of Oct and going weekly.  Pepper has signifigant improvement in her mobility already.   Personality  Pepper is as charming as they come! She enjoys being around people, soaking up attention, and getting gentle belly rubs. She’s friendly with both dogs and children, and she loves being part of the family.   Her Ideal Home  Pepper will need a special home that understands her condition and can provide her with a safe, calm environment. A home with hard floors due to her having issues sometimes with her bladder or bowels.   •A home without stairs is a must to protect her back. •Her family should be able to monitor her activity, making sure she doesn’t overdo playtime and gets the rest she needs. •Pepper would do best in a home with older, gentle children who understand that she can’t be chased or allowed to jump on and off furniture.   About IVDD   IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) is a common condition in French Bulldogs and other small breeds. It means the cushioning discs in the spine can become irritated or damaged, which can cause pain or stiffness. The good news is that with proper care—like chiropractic adjustments, rest, and avoiding jumping—dogs with IVDD can still live happy, comfortable lives. Pepper is already responding well to her treatments and is doing great in our care!   &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Care & Comfort   Pepper’s new family should be committed to her ongoing care, which may include chiropractic visits or other therapies to help manage her IVDD. With the right support, Pepper can continue to live a full, joyful life filled with love and snuggles.   This little sweetheart has so much love to give and deserves a forever home where she can thrive safely. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to Pepper, she’ll be your loyal companion and cuddle buddy for life.
