Story
Meet Ian – Your Slightly Wonky, Totally Wonderful Adventure Buddy If you like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain… Ian might just be your perfect match. This little Boston Terrier mix lives life full throttle—zooming through the yard like he’s racing in the Indy 500, making pit stops in imaginary swamps with Shrek, and embracing every muddy, joy-filled moment along the way (bonus points if you don’t mind getting a little dirty with him). Ian is a young, playful pup with a heart as big as his personality. He came into rescue with a shattered hip that has since healed, leaving him with an adorable “wonky” gait. When he runs, his back leg sometimes flails out to the side—but it doesn’t slow him down one bit. If anything, it just makes him even more unforgettable. Personality & Play Style: Ian is a social, toy-loving goofball who thrives on fun. He always has a toy in his mouth—seriously, always. He’ll take them outside, bring them back in, and politely “check” them at the door until you hand them back. He loves playing with other dogs, especially games of chase and keep-away. After playtime, Ian enjoys winding down with his favorite toy and appreciates a little personal space during his chill time. Because of this, he’d do best with a laid-back, respectful dog companion—especially one around his size or slightly smaller who won’t bother him when he’s relaxing. Snuggles Included: Once the zoomies are out, Ian is all about couch time. He’ll curl up beside you, toy in tow, and drift off while you watch TV. The perfect mix of playful and snuggly. Communication Style (aka his signature move): Ian has the best voice—a raspy, screechy, baby pterodactyl sound that he proudly uses to let you know when he’s ready to come out of his crate or needs a potty break. It’s hilarious, endearing, and very effective. He’ll also quietly go sit by the door, so keep an eye out—he’s a good boy who just needs you to notice his polite signals. Mealtime & Care: Ian is an enthusiastic foodie, so he uses a slow feeder bowl to keep mealtime safe and comfortable. Medical Transparency: Due to his past injury, Ian has diabetes insipidus. The good news: • No injections required • Managed with oral medication twice daily • Just needs a few extra potty breaks His condition is well-managed, and he’s living a happy, active, zoomie-filled life. The Perfect Home for Ian: • An active home that enjoys play, laughter, and a little chaos • A consistent adopter who can manage his simple medical routine • A respectful dog companion—or he’d love being your one and only • Someone who appreciates a quirky, lovable personality Ian isn’t just a dog—he’s an experience. He’ll make you laugh daily, keep life interesting, and then curl up next to you like he’s always belonged there. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Marge is the cutest little girl who was abandoned by her family when they moved. Her sister, Willa, was abandoned with her. Marge is a medium sized girl who weighs about 35lbs. We believe she is a boxer mix or boston terrier mix. She is SO INCREDIBLY SWEET! She is a cuddler and will crawl right into your lap and cuddle for as long as you will let her. She has the sweetest personality. She loves other dogs and is very submissive. Marge did test positive for heartworms and will be treated before going to a new home. She will start at the Arkansas Paws in Prison program on 4/20, where she will spend 8 weeks being trained in all obedience and some tricks as well. We hope to have a home lined up for her once she graduates and finishes heartworm treatment. Marge is very bonded to her sister, Willa, and we would love nothing more than for them to be adopted together. But we know how hard it is to find a home for 2 dogs together, so we hope their experience at Paws in Prison will help them gain some independence from one another. We would definitely consider adopting them seperately for the right homes. Marge and Willa are located in Arkansas. They can be adopted locally, or can be transported to the northeast if adopted there. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. For more info, email apps.aasr@gmail.comTo apply to adopt, click here:https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Story
To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Be sure to watch his video!  Bingo is a 10 month old male Boston Terrier mix who was rescued as a stray in Memphis. Friendly and well-socialized, never meets a stranger. Typical Boston Terrier traits:  affectionate, intelligent, lively, active, playful!  Good with other dogs and prefers dogs his own size or smaller. Fine with cats. Loves kids, he’s great with foster mom’s young son but might be a little too active for toddlers. Very active, high energy level. Boston Terriers need daily walks and active playtime. Housebroken and crate trained.  Loves to be with his people. Good on a leash, rides great in the car.  Boston Terriers are highly intelligent and quick learners, but can have a stubborn streak. They respond best to positive reinforcement and gentle correction and Bingo exemplifies this trait as he’s highly motivated by treats as you can see in his video. DOB estimated 7-1-25. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, neutered, weighs about 30 pounds.  Bingo’s ideal adopter would be an active family who is familiar with the breed and has the time and energy for a highly active puppy and the inclination to continue his training and socialization so he can reach his full potential. Bingo is an AWESOME young BT mix will make a wonderful companion (and jogging partner!)  for an active family who loves the breed. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bonjour! I’m Gaston — yes, that Gaston… handsome, charming, and working on becoming the confident little Frenchie I was meant to be. I was born on October 15, 2024, and I’m on a journey to find my forever home. I came here with my brother after our previous owner could no longer care for us financially. When we first arrived, we both had pretty bad skin issues, including hair loss and fleas. It wasn’t the best start, but I’m already feeling better and getting healthier every day. I’m a really sweet boy and I’m just beginning to learn what it means to be loved. Toys, playtime, cuddles—it’s all new to me, but I’m starting to see why everyone says it’s so great. French Bulldogs are usually playful, goofy, and full of personality, and I’m sure that side of me will shine as I continue to come out of my shell. For now, I’ll let you in on a little secret… my favorite thing is naps. Give me a cozy doggy couch and I’m one happy guy. I’m neutered, vaccinated, current on ProHeart 12, protected with Bravecto, and I tested negative on my 4DX—so I’m ready to go home! My adoption fee is $500. If you’re ready to welcome me into your life, you can apply at www.adoggie4you.org . I’m currently in Texas, but I can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, or along the East Coast. If I need a ride, there’s an additional $250 transport fee. (I can’t travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to regulations.)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 15, 2026, 1:22 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bonjour! I’m Jacque — a French Bulldog with a big heart and a soft spot for naps. I was born on October 15, 2024, and I’m just starting to discover how fun life can be. I came here with my brother after our previous owner realized they couldn’t care for us financially. When we arrived, we both had some pretty rough skin issues, including hair loss and fleas. But don’t worry—I’m already on the road to feeling much better and getting healthier every day! I’m a very sweet boy, and I’m learning what love, playtime, and affection are all about. It’s all still a little new to me, but I like it… a lot. Frenchies like me are usually playful, silly, and full of energy—and I’m sure that side of me will come out more and more as I gain confidence. Right now, my absolute favorite thing to do is curl up on my doggy couch and take a good nap. It’s kind of my specialty. I’m neutered, vaccinated, current on ProHeart 12, protected with Bravecto, and I tested negative on my 4DX—so I’m all set to find my forever home! My adoption fee is $500. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Bandit, a handsome young pug with an adventurous streak and a heart full of love! Born around May 14, 2024, this sweet 18.4-pound boy was found exploring a local subdivision, charming multiple neighbors along the way. While everyone wanted to help the little runaway, Bandit proved himself to be quite the escape artist, cleverly digging out of various yards in his determined quest to find the action! Bandit is a true social butterfly. His main goal in life is to be right where the people are. When he gets loose, he doesn't run away; he rushes towards companionship! He is looking for a secure yard and a family who will give him plenty of attention and keep him close by, satisfying his deep desire to be part of the pack. Bandit has been fully vetted and is now receiving treatment for anaplasmosis, a common tick-borne disease discovered during his initial exam. He is doing great and just needs to complete his 30-day course of medication. He's on the mend and ready for his fresh start. This resilient, people-loving pug is eager to trade his days of solo adventures for a lifetime of cozy cuddles and family fun. If you’re looking for a loyal, friendly companion who promises to keep you entertained and loved, Bandit is eagerly waiting to steal your heart! You can apply for Bandit at www.adoggie4you.org.  His adoption fee is $350.  This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast.
