Ripken is a confident little guy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. Loyal, playful, and always ready to show up, he’s a true MVP of puppy love. Ripken is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. This is "Onix". He is a Boston Terrier. He is 1 year and 3 months old and he weighs about 13 pounds. We received a phone call from Onix's owners, a young couple, saying they never realized how much work is involved to take care of a little dog in a small apartment and they wanted to give up the dog. We wonder how much time poor Onix had to spend in his crate. How sad for Onix. Onix is a great little dog. He has a great temperament and a LOT of energy! We are looking for Onix's new owner to be very familiar with and fond of Boston Terriers. You MUST own your own home preferably with a fenced in yard. ABSOLUTELY NO CONDOS. ABSOLUTELY NO APARTMENTS. Children must be 8 years old or older. Onix had his shots when he came to us. We had him neutered and tested for heartworm, which was negative. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Friendly and well-socialized, never meets a stranger. Typical Boston Terrier traits: affectionate, intelligent, lively, active, playful! Good with other dogs. Fine with cats. Loves kids, he’s great with foster mom’s young son but might be a little too active for toddlers. Very active, high energy level. Boston Terriers need daily walks and active playtime. Housebroken and crate trained. Loves to be with his people. Good on a leash, rides great in the car. Boston Terriers are highly intelligent and quick learners, but can have a stubborn streak. They respond best to positive reinforcement and gentle correction and Bingo exemplifies this trait as he’s highly motivated by treats as you can see in his video. DOB estimated 7-1-25. Healthy and fully vetted, current on shots, neutered, weighs about 22 pounds. Bingo’s ideal adopter would be an active family who is familiar with the breed and has the time and energy for a highly active puppy and the inclination to continue his training and socialization so he can reach his full potential.
