Story
I adopted Truffles and Patrick in June 2018 during the Petco adoption day. I had the financial means at that time and could provide them a loving home which I did for 7 year Patrick is not her littermate. He is a small white long haired Chihuahua. Weighs 7 pounds. I want them to go to a loving owner(s). They do not need to be adopted together as they are not litter mates. Truffles is like velcro, she loves to be right next to you at all times. She is a great walker and has tons of endurance. She weighs 9 pounds, Boston terrier/chihuahua mix. Patrick loves being carried, cuddled, snuggled like a baby. He really loves going inside bags and being carried. Both adore car rides and trips to fun places. All have their shots, chipped and nuetered and spayed. I feed them Stella and Chewey round patties. They love the ease and consistency of the freeze dried meats. They eat dried kibble too. Sometimes it is best to soften the kibble for Patrick. Love these guys and you will too.

Story
Introducing Stitch! This handsome boy came to AFRP after he was brought to a local animal hospital for help with a prolapsed rectum. Now, fully recovered he's seeking out his furever home! While he's a looker, Stitch is quite a special boy who requires very specific adopters! Stitch is quite a goofy pup, and with that comes a few quirks; he is dog reactive and although he is working through it with positive training he would do best in a home with a fenced-in yard at this time as well as with potential adopters who have experience with reactive pups. Stitch is also obsessed with being the center of attention and it shows! This means no other animals can be in the home, he wants to be the only pup in your heart! He's a bundle of fun and loves to play with his toys, especially any kind of ball. Stitch is looking for an adopter who has experience with brachycephalic breeds (flat-faced dogs) and understands their continued needs, and possible added medical care. These adorable pups can be a bit more costly! Stitch comes with pre-registration for one-on-one classes to help with his exposure to other dogs and general basic obedience. His adoption does come with 2 free training sessions with his current trainer. Due to these requirements, Stitch may only be adopted to applicants living in Monterey County or surrounding areas (Santa Cruz, etc.). He will also do best in an adult-only household. He is currently in foster care. Meet and greets can be scheduled once your online application has been received and approved. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org for an online application.

Story
Looks like: French Bulldog Male, 8 years old (estimated), 26 pounds There's a lot to love about George, but the best thing might just be how much he loves the world. May we all learn to see the world through George's eyes! This stout sweetheart just adores everyone he meets, whether they be adults, children, or other furry critters like him. George is looking for a companion who lets him explore the world, from car rides to walks to parks to caf's. Basically, if you're allowed to take a dog somewhere, he hopes you take him with you! While George is looking for a forever best friend who wants to take him out for adventures, he doesn't seem to be showing signs of separation anxiety, and he's totally cool staying home, too! He just doesn't like missing out on adventures, as he seems to have a classic case of FOMO! George currently has mid-to-low energy levels, and he has been having trouble eating and drinking, which we're working to address. He may require follow-up with our clinic. Hopefully, he'll soon have more of that classic Frenchie energy you just gotta love! This adorable little guy joined us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services after he was picked up as a stray.
