Story
The day I met Malia, on the beach in Puerto Rico, she hopped into my open car door, she got into the car and didn't want to get out! She was determined to be rescued! She was living and surviving with a group of dogs that had obviously been abandoned there. Malia is a good and social dog. She likes affection and to be petted and loved on. She is a dog that would love active people, and who would give her the exercise and daily walks she needs. She has a lot of fun energy and would do great with kids who would play with her or she would love a jogging partner! She loves to play with the water from the hose, Love toys and to chase balls. She is about 2 years old and 45 pounds! Malia completed a training program with a veterinarian in Puerto Rico and did very, very well. He said that she is super smart and worked on basic obedience. Since being in NY we have worked diligently with her and she completed her Canine Good Citizen certification! She ios now enrolled in Canine Good Citizen Advanced and doing very well! If you are looking for a smart, food motivated dog..Malia is your girl! Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico.
