Getting to know you! Hi I’m Cookie, and I’m a sweet girl who loves pets. I can be a little shy when I first meet you, but I warm with a gentle approach. I love good scratches and when you hit the right spot, I’ll lean into you for more. I also enjoy enrichment items such as snuffle mats and licky mats and would love to continue my training with you. I will do well with someone that can comfortably broaden my horizons and build my confidence. And did I mention I love toys? A good game of tug or fetch and I couldn't be happier. At least two in my mouth at one time makes me a very contented girl, indeed! I am sure to blossom with just a little patience and will make a wonderful companion and confidante for a loving family.

They are all incredibly friendly with everyone they meet and seem to learn simple commands very quickly. Almost 3 months old, expected to be about 25 pounds when grown and will make wonderful family pets. PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing and using the “contact us” link is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. Petfinder inquires are not sent to us. The adoption fee is $425, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. Puppies under 6 months of age may go to adoptive homes before they are spayed/neutered with a spay/neuter contract. Adopters who choose to adopt a puppy that has not yet been spayed/neutered are subject to an additional deposit of $100 (refundable upon proof of spay/neuter prior to the contracted date.) Included in the adoption fee, the rescue will arrange spay/neuter by a partner vet at a predetermined appointment when the puppy is between 7-9 months of age.
