Story
Pearl is up for pre-adoption and will be available to adopt by 12/22 in Texas and January out of state! She weighs 4.8 pounds at 6 weeks old and we believe she is a Border Terrier/Schnauzer mix who will stay under 30 pounds, full grown. Pearl came into our local animal control with her 7 siblings at 4 weeks old and have been in a foster home since then. I love cuddles and talking to my humans. I love run and play outside. I love to cuddle when I’m sleeping. I’m a sweet girl and like my foster sister. Millie. I love to chew on my toys. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Story
Meet Atlas, a playful little bundle of joy! Atlas loves spending time around other dog friends, especially playing with his foster brother at home. When he goes on walks he might get a little over excited and bark, but does great when being redirected with treats! In the little exposure he has had being around children, he was super calm and relaxed and was very sweet with them. Atlas does great when his humans are away and loves sleeping in his crate at night. He has been house trained and does an excellent job at indicating when he needs to go to the bathroom. Unfortunately, Atlas does live with chronic kidney failure, but he doesn't let that impede on his happy way of life! He loves zooming around with his new chew toys and giving kisses, and makes a great snuggle buddy! Come on by to learn more about Atlas!

Story
Benny was found running the streets in a stray dog pack in the Rio Grande Valley. When he first came here, he was fearful around men and could be a bully to new dogs, but he's come a long way since then. Once he gets to know you, he's a sweet, funny, playful dog who wants to be with you as much as possible. Benny was initially cat-aggressive, but he's been around cats for several months and has grown used to them. He mostly ignores them but sometimes chases them. He can be around cats, but should not be left alone with them. (I kennel him when we leave.) Benny gets along well with most female dogs, but he can be dominant towards male dogs. He shows some resource guarding of both food and people and seems to want to "defend" his people from other dogs. That doesn't mean he can't get along with other dogs or other male dogs, but he needs to be introduced to other dogs carefully. The same can be true for introducing him to new people---he needs some time to build trust. Someone who is willing to take time and socialize Benny with other people and animals would be a great adopter. Benny is a great dog who really wants to please. He is loving, affectionate, and playful.
