Story
I’ve recently had to move out of an abusive household and unfortunately I can’t bring Emilio with me. I’d love to find a foster or experienced adopter. He’s a very loving and playful dog. He is almost 3 years old, his birthday is 02/14/2022. With proper command use and attention, he behaves well under loving and authoritative care. He has wirey hair and sheds a good amount. He loves playing tug and tag, running around the yard, squeaky toys, cow shin chew bones, big ropes, bird videos. He doesnt have much experience socializing with children and other animals. (Would be best to have around children 7+). Can become agitated at feeling cornered, and touching paws too much. He can sit and lay down. We’ve worked on refraining him from jumping up onto people.

Hello, my name is Ruchi or Rue for short. I am a shy and slow to warm up girl. Once I get to know you, I love being right next to you. I was living outside so you can imagine how much I love a soft warm bed. I have heartwroms, but will be going through fast kill. My perfect companion will be patient with my introvert self, especially through my potty training. I do great with cats and dogs. In fact, a dog companion might help me warm up. My adoption fee is $250 locally in Houston, TX. It includes all my vaccines, spay/neuter, and microchip. The rescue is also covering my heartworm treatment. Rory is 1 year old and weighs 13 pounds. He is heartworm positive but has been treated by the rescue. He gets along well with other dogs. He knows the doggy door and is playful and friendly. Rory seems to be a border terrier cross. Rory loves to play, walks well on the leash. He’s crate trained and seems to be house trained. Adoption fee is: $350 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs.
