Bleu is up for pre-adoption and will be available to adopt by 12/22 in Texas and January out of state! He weighs 4.4 pounds at 6 weeks old and we believe he is a Border Terrier/Schnauzer mix who will stay under 30 pounds, full grown. Bleu came into our local animal control with his 7 siblings at 4 weeks old and have been in a foster home since then. I am a sweet guy with a lot of energy. I love play. I am tiny but have a big voice. I’m learning to potty train and have been doing really well but still have accidents if I’m busy playing. I love to know if I’m doing a good job. Meet Simba Simba is an adorable terrier mix who is approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 14 pounds. He was an owner surrender from near the border of Mexico. He is a very happy and playful guy! He gets along well with the other dogs here at the rescue. They have a great time playing and exploring together. He does still have some puppy energy, so would do best in an active home where he can go on lots of walks, runs and/or hikes. He is very smart and learns quickly. He just wants love and attention so badly. Simba is a wonderful dog who would be a loyal and loving companion to a loving family! He wants to please and is very treat-motivated! He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $325. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application. Located in San Antonio Texas Meet Gerti the Border Terrier! She is our newest addition. She was found running the streets with her Dogo Argentino pal. The family that found them spent weeks trying to find their owners with no success. Gerti was not spayed and did not have a microchip. The good new is, she is now spayed, microchipped, and has had all her vaccines! The bad news is, she is heartworm positive. All though we are all very bummed about this she has a fabulous veterinarian that is taking care of her! She has started Gerti on her heartworm treatment protocol and says there is no reason why she can’t find a new home while she is undergoing treatment! Now we just need to find her that perfect place to call home! If you are interested in Gerti let us know.

He was found as a stray and kept safe by a kind person while they searched for his owners, but now Raisin is ready to find his forever home.Raisin is super sweet but understandably a bit nervous after all he’s been through. He’s great with other dogs and depends on their companionship for confidence. With time and patience, he’s already made strides in trusting humans—he now feels comfortable climbing a ramp to sleep in bed with his foster and even wakes them when he needs to go potty!Raisin is looking for a loving home where he can feel safe and continue to blossom.
