If you're looking for a medium-sized buddy to bring along on all family adventures, Scruffy fits the bill! He has scaled a chain link fence in the past, so a PVC fence or apartment living is best. Hi there, My name is Kiki and I am a cute little female Border Terrier mix puppy, about 4 months old and I weigh 6.8 lbs. I was the lone survivor of a litter of puppies killed by a big mean dog living in my backyard in San Antonio Texas. None of us were allowed indoors, so my parents always hung out in the street in front of our house until a lady stopped and convinced our owner to surrender us to a dog rescue. That was a great day! I was just a little squirt, looked almost exactly like my dad, with “lowrider” legs (see his picture), and was able to grow up safely and get vaccinated while having some fun in my foster home. I am a sweet girl with some sass and a happy spirit. I get along great with everyone humans, dogs, maybe a kitty cat if I ever meet one, and I love to play and snuggle and share puppy kisses. My foster mom says I am super sweet, super confident, and not to brag, but I’m also super adorable! This little girl's name is Bunny and she earned it because in all of her excitement. and enthusiasm for life, this young Border Terrier girl hops around like a bunny rabbit. To watch her is pure entertainment as everyone laughs and gets a kick out of watching her. Bunny was found as a stray in a rural country. Barn and no one knows how she got there. Taken to the rural shelter. That is very small and overcrowded, someone did step up to fall for her, but it's in and outdoor kennel and the frigid cold is soon to come. She has a dog house, but she refuses to go in it and so she lays outside the doghouse on the ground. Maybe she's just not used to nice things in life. We truly don't know, but we are looking for an inside foster home or a forever adopter. This little girl, it's only ten to twelve months old and weighs thirty one pounds. She is curious and has a very fun and dynamic personality that is big as all outdoors. She would do well with someone that walks her regularly every day, several times a day, or takes her to doggy day care as they go to work. Or perhaps someone has a beautiful fenced backyard that she can go and hang out in, playing to her heart's content with no real supervision, but safe! This girl can be active and also a snuggle bunny! We can't say that she is housebroken totally but being a year of age gives her the edge to catch on quick and get the routine down. She is great with other dogs and would be wonderful with young children. Bunny is ready to take the world by storm with you by her side.
