I know Iandamp;#39;m speaking for all the dogs and cats in shelters that ALL we want is a loving family - to belong. We are no different than humans. andlt;br/andgt; andlt;br/andgt;I spent some time in a foster home and didnandamp;#39;t have any accidents + I slept through the night in a kennel. That is a great start - donandamp;#39;t ‘ya think? I DO understand that going outside is to do my business. I do have to admit Iandamp;#39;ve had some accidents at the shelter but hey&#44 Iandamp;#39;m stuck in a shelter environment.andlt;br/andgt; andlt;br/andgt;The important thing to know about me is I am a cuddle bug&#44 loving&#44 playful and a couch potato. I am eager to learn&#44 and food motivated which is a HUGE plus or so Iandamp;#39;m told. andlt;br/andgt; andlt;br/andgt;I spend a lot of my days at the shelter in offices with staff members and they say Iandamp;#39;m quiet and sweet. I donandamp;#39;t want to give you the wrong idea though. I do need my exercise - not a lot of exercise but a place to run and get my zoomies out. Then Iandamp;#39;m good at slumbering and cuddling. Oh&#44 I canandamp;#39;t forget I like to play with toys. Is that ok with you? andlt;br/andgt; andlt;br/andgt;I REALLY hope you will consider me and come to the shelter to meet me in the flesh! My name is Suzie&#44 and I was having a very hard time getting used to living in a shelter. It was a bit scary at times&#44 but all my new human friends made things less scary as time went on. I was so thrilled that they found a foster home for me! Being shy&#44 unsure and lacking in confidence&#44 a foster home was the perfect place for perfectly sweet and shy me to unwind and try to make sense of my new world. I am adapting well&#44 and I have found comfort in my new surroundings. I am socializing with my foster mom&#44 and I enjoy having my crate in the home since it is my safe and happy place. I do appear to get along with other dogs Iandamp;#39;ve met along my journey. Did you know that another more confident dog can help a shy and fearful dog like me gain confidence?andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I really need to build confidence in a nice quiet home with no little humans. My friends here at the shelter think that kids over 12 years old might be best suited for me&#44 and I couldnandamp;#39;t agree more. I do want to meet any potential dog friends I may have in the home and any human friends too!
