You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Masha is from Texas. Masha is leash and crate trained.  She sleeps soundly through the night in her kennel, as well as taking all of her meals and high value treats there.  feeding her  separately  in her kennel is a must for Miss Masha, as she has a little resource guarding around food with other animals.  Mash is not 100% potty trained, but is working on it with her texan foster every day.  The ket to potty training a dog is consistency.  They will eat/drink and about 30-45 minutes later it's potty time folks.  giving them adequate outside time (and sometimes a  little  privacy.. lol) are the keys to successfully potty training any pup.  Masha is also an escape artist, so extra precautions need to be taken to make sure she is safe all the time.  Having a barrier between her and the front/back doors is a big one.  Double leashing is also a very good idea.  Masha is just looking for a loving home with patient humans that are willing to let her blossom into the wonderful pup we know she is.  If you think you've got the perfect home for this sweet girl, please fill out an adoption application today.   If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Meet Raisin!This adorable little guy has a scruffy coat, a charming face, and a heart ready for love! Raisin is about 1 year old, weighs 12 pounds, and seems to be a Cairn Terrier mix. He was found as a stray and kept safe by a kind person while they searched for his owners, but now Raisin is ready to find his forever home.Raisin is super sweet but understandably a bit nervous after all he’s been through. He’s great with other dogs and depends on their companionship for confidence. With time and patience, he’s already made strides in trusting humans—he now feels comfortable climbing a ramp to sleep in bed with his foster and even wakes them when he needs to go potty!Raisin is looking for a loving home where he can feel safe and continue to blossom. Welcome Carmelo to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Carmelo is a Norfolk/Cairn Terrier mix is our best guess. He weighs about 15 pounds and this boy understands mostly Spanish and is learning English. Carmelo is 2 years old and has the shortest legs and the least outgoing of the two. These boys love each other and would love to be adopted together. If they adopt out separately, we do think they will be ok. Carmelo is lower shedding and lower dander due to his breed. He cannot walk on a leash yet but with patience we think he can learn. We will be working on that while he is here at the rescue. His brother already knows how to walk on a leash. Simba has lived with an older couple. They had some very unfortunate circumstances and now they are looking for a new home. CCPAL is happy to help them find their forever home. If we could find an owner that speaks some Spanish, that would be great. They are both learning English so they should be fine with some patience. An older couple or an older single person wanting a nice companion would be the best pick. Carmelo is very quiet and lower energy so he wouldn’t be hard to care for other than being really shy. He is good in a crate and not too much of a barker. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted out locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200 He is healthy, vaccinated, neutered and ready for his forever home. He can be in a home with children. We like them to be 12 or older. Welcome Merry to CCPAL Rescue. Merry is a 1-year-old Cairn Terrier mix. She is very low energy and cuddly. Her teeth are really white and clean as her adult teeth are just now coming in. She is the ultimate lap dog and weighs about 10 pounds. She is very content being held and is social and confident. She came from a homeless person that had about 6 dogs. The homless person had rescued all as strays. A good Samaritan stepped up to help and called CCPAL Rescue. CCPAL took in all the homeless person’s dogs except one she wanted to keep. We will be vaccinating them and spaying them to get them ready for their forever home. This girl is not a shedding dog and is very very affectionate. She would be fine around kids but I think her best home would be with a home that someone wants a lap dog. She would be a great one person dog. She is lots of company and will not require lots of exercise. A small condo type yard would work for her. She is good in a crate and with other dogs. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transportation fee is $200.
