Bleu is up for pre-adoption and will be available to adopt by 12/22 in Texas and January out of state! He weighs 4.4 pounds at 6 weeks old and we believe he is a Border Terrier/Schnauzer mix who will stay under 30 pounds, full grown. Bleu came into our local animal control with his 7 siblings at 4 weeks old and have been in a foster home since then. I am a sweet guy with a lot of energy. I love play. I am tiny but have a big voice. I’m learning to potty train and have been doing really well but still have accidents if I’m busy playing. I love to know if I’m doing a good job. My favorite place is outside on a sunny day. To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. To apply directly for Bleu click the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-556 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. Story
Meet Raisin! This adorable little guy has a scruffy coat, a charming face, and a heart ready for love! Raisin is about 1 year old, weighs 12 pounds, and seems to be a Cairn Terrier mix. He was found as a stray and kept safe by a kind person while they searched for his owners, but now Raisin is ready to find his forever home.Raisin is super sweet but understandably a bit nervous after all he’s been through. He’s great with other dogs and depends on their companionship for confidence. With time and patience, he’s already made strides in trusting humans—he now feels comfortable climbing a ramp to sleep in bed with his foster and even wakes them when he needs to go potty!Raisin is looking for a loving home where he can feel safe and continue to blossom. Could you be the one to show him how wonderful life can be?IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.December 15, 2024, 6:04 am

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.FIFI & her brother FRITZ were left behind at an abandoned home by their owners.  A good Samaritan opened the gate to let them out to roam the neighborhood to give them a fighting chance but they just stayed on the front porch waiting for their owners to return. Both dogs are super friendly and social.  They get along with the other dogs in my home but they do tend to stick by each other's side.  I have not determined if they can be separated yet.  I am still monitoring their personalities and behavior patterns. FRITZ more apt to play with the other dogs and FIFI like following me around and giving me kisses. Both FIFI & FRITZ are 11 months old.  FRITZ weighs 14 pounds and FIF weighs 9 pounds.  The vet thinks they are Norfolk Terrier mix, they are some type of scruffy haired terrier that may need to be groomed about once every 3 months. If you are interested in adopting FRITZ or FIFI please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you, www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         November 7, 2024, 5:10 am
