Story
Meet the sweetest girl around....Arya! She's an adorable mix of Terrier/Dachshund and approximately 2 years old. At 10lbs, Arya is the perfect size for snuggles which just happens to be one of her favorite things. 🥰 If there was an award for the most agile dog around, the Oscar would go to Arya! This girl was an acrobat in a past life and her energetic personality is best suited for an active family who will include her on hikes or any other outdoor activity. Let's not forget her ability to act....she knows how to "play dead" and can switch it off on a dime when a case of the zoomies hits. 😂 Arya does well with small dogs but can be picky about her dog friends. She is currently working enrolled in daycare to help her socialize and gain more confidence. While she hasn't been exposed to small children, Arya does great with older kids. Arya's excitement on walks sometimes gets the best of her in the form of pulling while on leash. A strong leash/harness and proper guidance would make Arya a great little walking buddy. ☺️ She enjoys hanging out in her crate at night and does well in the house during the day. Going outside regularly to do her business has provided Arya with consistency and routine. She loves to chew on whatever she finds but will happily take a bone or toy instead. Arya loves to be a little vocal by barking. Whether she's alerting you to someone at the door or a spooky shadow on her walk, Arya makes sure to let you know what's going on. 😉 Arya's love of people makes her incredibly affectionate and lovable. She would thrive in a home where she can continue training and gain confidence everyday. If you love being outdoors and think you may be missing a friend, Arya would gladly be your sidekick. Don't wait, apply to meet Arya today! 💗 **Arya would do best in a cat-free home.
