He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Story
Bella is originally a stray, literally walked up to my parents house right off the street. When she came to us she seemed to be about 2-4 years old. Currently we are assuming she is at least 8 years old. I do not know her background but she has always had a very good temper. She is incredibly food driven, but not territorial about her food. I’ve had her around small children and other dogs and she does great. She does have cushings, so she will drink water all day long if you let her. I really hate to rehome her in her senior years, but unfortunately I am not able to let her outside multiple times a day due to my job. She is potty trained, but with her age and Cushings, she often needs to go outside. Bella does sometimes have accidents in her sleep if she did drink too much water.
