Story
Meet Charlie Barkley.  He is a sweet, playful awesome dog who is very easy to love.  He walks on a leash but needs additional training as he pulls.  He knows some basic commands but does need a bit more training.  Charlie is a 1 to 1 1/2 year old neutered male who weighs approximately 52 lbs.  He was originally adopted by a family that decided they no longer wanted him so they dumped him in a south Nashville neighborhood.  Charlie was found by a nice family that took him but cannot keep him because they have older cats.  They would love to add him to their family but it just win't work out.  He's been vet checked,  is current on his vaccines and is in excellent health.  Charlie is full of puppy energy and ready to play ball with the children.  He needs a younger active and energetic family who can  give him the exercise and play that he needs.  A fecned in yard is a MUST for Charlie.  When not playing, by the way ball is his favorite game, he loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. Charlie is patiently waiting for his forever family to find him.  He would be a great family dog and love to have a home for the holidays.  To be considered for his forever fmaily and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Charlie is in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)  November 19, 2024, 4:27 pm

Story
We are calling them "Border Bullies"! Mama is a Border Collie, dad is a Pit Bull! I cannot imagine how smart these pups will be! They were born on October 13th. The owner of Nelly (mom) and Bruce (dad) unfortunately wound up in jail and obviously couldn't take care of this little family so they were surrendered to us on the day they were born. Both mom and dad have beautiful temperaments so I am quite sure these pups will be amazing! They will be available for adoption by January 11, 2025. They are all spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. How can you resist!! PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOCATED IN TENNESSEE AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MEET OUR PETS PRIOR TO ADOPTION! ADOPTION FEE $650

Story
We are delighted to say that during this beautiful season of renewal and friendship and family bonding, we have 8 precious little Border Collie/Aussie mix puppies that are looking for a fresh and forever start to their life. Born about the middle of October to a beautiful Aussie mix mom, these babies were fortunately taken in by a senior couple who nurtured them for 7 weeks.  Now these precious beauties are in individual foster homes and learning so much as they grow.  5 boys and 3 girls.  They are handled and cuddled so much!  No fear issues have touched their spirit!   Mom is a 45 pound white and black beauty and we expect each of these smart pups to be in the 45-50 pound range as an adult.  If you were interested in adopting, please right to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 21, 2024, 10:19 pm

Story
Meet Dizzy! 🐾 Dizzy is a 4-month-old male Border Collie with a stunning brindle coat and a heart full of love. He’s a quick learner, eager to please, and already showing off his intelligence—this little guy is going to make an excellent companion for someone who loves an active, smart dog. Right now, Dizzy is working on his housebreaking, but he’s already doing great and loves his routine. At night, he’s a dream—he sleeps quietly through the night and enjoys cozying up for a good snuggle. Dizzy is a perfect mix of energy and affection—he’s looking for a family or individual who can keep up with his active brain and give him plenty of playtime and cuddles. Whether you’re out for a walk or chilling on the couch, he’s sure to bring joy to your day. If you think Dizzy could be the perfect addition to your family, please reach out! 🐶💙 The adoption fee for this puppy is $475, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. A $250 spay/neuter deposit is required at time of adoption. This fee covers spay/neuter at one of PetConnect's preferred veterinary partners. If the adopter chooses to use their own veterinarian, the deposit will be returned with proof of sterilization. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and the general appearance of the animal at the time they enter our system. Story
Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Fairfax, VA Gus is an 4 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 40 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention. Gus is nervous around strangers! No children or dogs, due to his reactivity! He hasn’t been tested around cats. Several years ago, Gus escaped from the yard while someone else was watching him. A stranger found him and went to grab his collar, which caused Gus to bite the stranger. Gus is currently on gabapentin, clonidine, and Sertaline for his reactivity. His owner says that when he isn’t triggered, he is loving, loyal, smart, playful, and energetic! The owner is surrendering him because he doesn’t do well with their young children. If you think you can provide a great home for Gus, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Gus. Owner’s Contact Information: Devin at elliott.family.8823@gmail.com
