Before joining ARMA, Chester didn’t have an easy start. He and another dog were left behind for months in a kennel, surrounded by overgrown weeds and with very little care. Thankfully, a local shelter stepped in and rescued them. After spending two months there, Chester finally found his way to ARMA and into a loving foster home—where his healing truly began. When Chester first arrived, the world felt overwhelming. He was nervous and unsure, often trying to disappear into corners, shrubs, or any quiet space he could find.
