Mauer is a 7.5 year old collie/lab mix. She is very affectionate as loves to run, play fetch and most of all, go on long walks. She is very smart and can sometimes get into mischief, but it’s only when she want attention or sees something she’s determined to get (food). Unfortunately she doesn’t do well with other female dogs or children. She needs someone who is experienced with her border collie breed and will take the time to be patient with her. She would be best fit for a family with no children and don’t plan to have any (families with children will not be considered). Also, no other female dogs. Male dogs are a possibility, but one dog home ideal. She needs someone who has active lifestyle and who will play with her everyday and give her the attention she desires.
