Indy, short for Independence, is ready for her forever. She is the sweetest, most gentle dog with 3 legs. She gets around just like any other dog, and loves to play with her dog friends. She also loves human snuggles and attention. Even with pain from her amputation, she's never been grumpy with caregivers. One of her favorite things is food. She loves puzzle feeders and chicken the most!

Meet Pipsqueak! This beautiful girl is a bundle of energy. Loves to give the kisses. She is great with men, women and kids. Basically anyone that will pet her. Pip thinks the people on tv want to pet her too. She does calm down quickly when she is ready for the lovin. She is a big snuggler. She is a puppy and does love to chew, especially the toys. She is still working on the potty training. She will not jump out of short enclosures. She was found very young and was put with a nursing mother that lost all of her pups. She is a very sweet soul and willl look at you with very loving eyes when she is getting the love. No experience with cats but sure she would be fine. Nick name is Pip.

Story
Ronan is from a litter of four other pups. He is very loving, playful, and energetic. He is an escape artist that will fit through a 5x7 hole, for a little bit longer anyway. Been working on commands but with four of them they interrupt each other, but they come when called. He knows his name and is very quick to learn, just get distracted easily, as puppies do! He does cower down though, and haven’t figured out why; he’s been doing it since I got them. Is pet good with children? Dogs? Cats? Great with kids, but being a pup there is jumping, been working on that. Other dogs aren't a problem, nor are chickens goats or sheep. Cats are not really around much, but he is terrified of cats when they are. He won’t walk past one.

Story
Reno was a rescue dog. He is very friendly, very loving and enjoys taking walks. Unfortunately, we can no longer take care of him because, as retirees, we are moving to a place that does not allow dogs. Reno has had regular visits with a vet. He has been on all necessary meds, including worm meds with tick/flea guard (Simparics). He has even been given the vaccine that protects against snake bites, since we live in the country.

Cherry

Australian Cattle Dog

Female, 3 yrs
Temple, TX
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Cherry is an approximately 3 year old Heeler mix that weighs 35 pounds. She is house trained, uses a doggie door and she is kennel trained. She is up to date on all her shots, heartworm negative and recently spayed. This beautiful girl is sweet, affectionate and a loyal companion once she trust you. However, she is defensive when meeting people especially men and it will take time and patience for her to learn to trust. Cherry was abused and neglected before coming into APAC and would do best with someone who has experience with this type of dog. Cherry has not been around many children so not sure how she would behave with them. Cherry is completely house broken, quiet, loves snuggling with her favorite person and is the perfect playmate with her doggy pals. This girl is truly an amazing dog once you get to know her and would be a wonderful and protective companion for a woman or couple with loving understanding. Cherry’s adoption fee is $165. If you think Cherry might be a great match for you, please submit your application. You can find the application by copying this link into your browser: https://form.jotform.com/201527297286058
