I’m playful and agile, but I also know how to relax and enjoy quiet time at home. 🏠 I already have my manners down. I’m crate-trained, housebroken, walk nicely on leash, and know my basic commands. I’m respectful with other dogs at mealtime, friendly with dogs, gentle with cats, and great with kids. Basically, I’m pretty easy to love. 😍 I enjoy affection, but I’m not clingy...I love just being near you, checking in, sharing space, and knowing we’re a team. Max is a very energetic dog and needs room to run. He is good with kids but does get a little too excited sometimes. He is a big cuddle bug and needs lots of attention. We unfortunately have to work lots of hours and hate that he has to be in his kennel so long each day. We would prefer if he was the only dog wherever he goes. He does have a sensitive stomach so not just any food will work. We have tried him with other dogs but he plays rough and doesn’t like when other dogs try to correct him. He is still young and with proper training I think he will be okay.

She is a lovely girl and full of energy, well trained for the most part. Happy, healthy, spayed, FUN, and BEAUTIFUL, this pup is magnificent! She loves to swim, play with toys, and do tricks for treats! She is fostered in a home with cats and doesn't seem bothered by them. Sometimes she wants to play (which is not allowed, cat's preference) but is not aggressive with them. She has been around very young children a little bit but her puppy energy is too much for small children. Children over age 10 who know how to handle a dog should be ok. She crates well. Izzy is a former alumni dog who has come back to BCRRT - through no fault of her previous family - unfortunately circumstances changed and it was best for all parties that Izzy come back to us. Since being back we have learnt all about Izzy and her wonderful personality. We have discovered the love she gives us is never ending, the cuddles she produces are out of this world and that she loves nothing more than her donut ring toy and a tennis ball!! She does take time to warm up but once she trusts you, she bonds to her person/people and is ready for all the adventures that lie ahead. Izzy will need a home that is quiet but one that can stimulate her fun, loving energy! Izzy does take time to adjust to new people/strangers but once she knows you, she is all cuddles. She would be best suited to a family with no young children and no other dogs. She is such a sweet girl with love to give and would love to find her forever home with people willing to spend time with her, throwing a ball around, quiet walks with her humans and cuddles. She is active but has an excellent off-switch and knows when it is time for inside vs outside. Izzy would do well with an older couple, maybe an empty-nest home where she can be spoilt forever and ever.
