Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Eloise, an endearing female Border Collie mix with a heart full of love. Born around September 2, 2023, this sweet girl currently weighs 17.2 pounds and is ready to find her forever home. Eloise's journey began in a challenging way when she was found abandoned in a field at just 6 weeks old by a compassionate feral cat feeder. Luckily, she was brought to a rescue where she quickly captured the hearts of everyone she met. Her gentle nature and affectionate personality made her a favorite among volunteers and staff alike. Previously, Eloise was adopted into a loving home, but unfortunately, her presence didn't quite mesh well with their older cat. With a heavy heart, her family made the difficult decision to return her to the rescue, knowing that she deserved a harmonious environment where she could thrive. Eloise is described as very sweet, albeit a bit shy initially. Once she feels comfortable, her warmth and charm shine through, making her a delightful companion. She's already mastered potty training and now effortlessly uses a doggy door. Could your home be the perfect match for Eloise's gentle spirit? If you're ready to open your heart and home to this loving pup, you can apply for Eloise at www.adoggie4you.org. Her adoption fee is $300, which includes all her vaccinations, spaying, and a microchip. Don't miss out on the opportunity to make Eloise a cherished member of your family—she's eagerly waiting to meet you This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Story
Welcome Willy to CCPAL Rescue. Willie is a 4.5 month old 30 pound Border Collie mixed pup. He is proably going to be a 55 to 60 pound adult. He is smart, good in a crate, good in a car and very affectionate. He currently is in foster care of a farm and he gets along well with other dogs and cats. He is not good with free range chickens. He is learning his potty manners and is already neutered and has all vaccines. He is healthy and ready for his forever home. He would be great with someone that loves the breed. He is a mix so doesn’t have all the qualities of the BC but he is smart, attentive and affectionate. He is decent on a leash and would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He isn’t as high energy as the pure bred Border Collie but he is a average playful puppy. An active family wanting a nice young companion to join your family would be best. Another playful dog would be good or a large yard for him to play in. He is currently in Texas and can find a local adopter. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Welcome Bear to CCPAL foster program. Bear is a young male that is 7 months old. He is 50% Border Collie mix and maybe Terrier or Lab. These puppies all love the water and would love a home that allows them to play in the water. He is the biggest of the 3 boys and a stronger but very sweet personality. He is the most outgoing of his litter. He has the long beautiful coat of the Border Collie. He is outgoing and social and is slightly less attentive than his two brothers. He should be 50 pounds full grown. He currently is about 27 pounds. He walks wonderfully on a leash and will be a wonderful family companion. He lives with children and is around goats in his farm house foster home. He has long beautiful and shinny fur. He is knows sit and can walk on a leash. He is good in a car and friendly with his litter mates. He hasn’t been around any other dogs but his litter mates. They are all boys. He has the striking looks of a Border Collie. We would love someone that knows and loves the breed to apply for Bear or any in this litter. He is outgoing enough to be the only dog or would be fine with another dog as well. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 600. He is healthy, vaccinated, neutered and ready for his forever home. He can be in a home with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Story
I am a great mixed breed pet for a family or an active person with a fenced yard to potty in and do a little exercise. I will be a medium to large sized adult. Since we are mixed with Shepherd, Border Collie, Terrier etc we will enjoy daily walks, dog training and suitable toys/bones. Due to our exercise needs and being vocal we will not do well in apartments, but a house with a fenced yard is best. Meet and greets are best with current dogs in the home as some adult dogs may not like an energetic pup. If adopted in San Antonio/Helotes area, I come with a $100 gift certificate at The Palms for dog training. Please submit online application if you want to meet me.
