Story
Champ is a fun loving dog with a personality as big as his ears—seriously, they could be goal posts for a football team! He loves chasing toys and, in true Champ fashion, will toss them in the air with pure joy. His playful nature shines when he’s with other dogs, always eager for fun. But he also has an affectionate side; and when you want to chill he’ll happily settle by your feet, content to chew on his favorite toy while staying close. Champ’s playful nature and loving heart make him a perfect friend to have by your side.   To learn more or to meet Champ call 281-339-2086 any day except Wednesday between 11AM and 5PM or you can fill in an app at https://bayareapetadoptions.org/adoption-application/ ##2196523##

Story
Border Collie lovers, meet Maxwell, a handsome and fun loving boy that loves to take walks and explore the surrounds.  He’s a smart dude always looking to please and knows some basic commands.  Seems he may believe in the extraterrestrial as he gave chase and captured our space ship with alien squeakers inside!  Max is two years old, just past that puppy stage, but has plenty of puppy enthusiasm for good times and lots of attention.  He’s a real sweetie and would love to be a new addition to your home. ##2216875##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. She is Xena The Warrior PrincessXena was born approximately July 15, 2021.  She is a GORGEOUS Border Collie/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix or Tri-Colored Rhodesian Ridgeback.  Her personality is true to her breed! Xena's foster mom and dad have 3 other dogs that she likes to play with and share toys with, but she has also learned to be by herself.  Her foster mom says she needs an active family with another dog or multiple dogs. Xena needs room to run to get her energy out.  She likes going for long walks and exploring the wilderness. Xena sleeps with her foster mom and dad in bed with all the other dogs. It gets a bit crowded but she does love sleeping with the pack. This makes her feel safe. Xena does not like to be in a kennel or crate.  So, a family that is at home would be ideal. She likes eating ice cubes!  Xena says 'When mom gives me fresh water in a bowl she puts in extra ice cubes for me. That makes me feel special and loved.'  Xena loves riding in a vehicle and knows not to jump around and act like a baby. She can walk on a leash pretty well as long as she has her harness on; Xena is not a fan of collars. She also knows a few commands like “stay”, “no” and “potty”.Xena will bark at strangers until she gets to know them.  Her foster dad has taught her to fetch.  She loves chasing the ball and bringing it back, it’s the letting it go part that she has a hard time with BECAUSE she also loves to play tug of war.  Xena is also a fan of the Laser Light.  She thinks they are fascinating!Xena is Special Needs because if and when she gets too excited she has seizures.  The vet attributes this to a blow to the head as a puppy.  Therefore, she needs to be in a home that understands how to deal with occasional seizures.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 25, 2024, 3:51 pm

Story
Meet our sweet and docile Shannon! This 2-yr-old lady came to us when her previous owner could no longer care for her. Shannon has lived with other dogs and cats before and has the sweetest temperament! She is house-broken and enjoys playing with a good chew toy. Shannon also does well around children. Shannon is a bit shy and reserved when meeting new people but she warms up quickly and is eager to roll over to allow you to scratch her speckled belly! And once she trusts you, she wants nothing more than to be right at your side with her head resting on your lap. She also walks beautifully on a leash. Don't miss out on the opportunity to make this lovable lady part of your family!

Story
Do you get enough hugs on a daily basis? Would like those hugs to come from a furry friend? Meet Jetsum, our hugging canine! Seriously, this boy loves to greet everyone by wrapping his front legs around your waist and holding tight while soaking up all the lovings - it's the sweetest thing! Jetsum came to us as a stray along with his buddy, who has since been adopted. Jetsum patiently awaits his turn and is seeking a home where he can be doted on as much as he'll dote on you! He's not a feline fan, so no cats please, but he gets along well with other dogs. Jetsum is an easy-going laid-back kind of guy and quiet in his kennel despite the noise surrounding him and we think his docked tail and notched ear just add to his cuteness! Come meet Jetsum today!
