Dora is the best dog and a perfectly lovely girl in all respects. She came from a terrible background and nearly froze to death before she was saved from a very high kill shelter. Today, she's all smiles all the time, romping and playing with her many friends at Dogtown Ranch while she waits for her perfect family to come along. Could that be you? Call us today and let's put Dora under your Christmas tree...you couldn't find a better dog to join the family and raise kids with. Dora is like living with a happily ever after Disney movie.May 22, 2024, 5:48 am

I adopted Pearl a few months ago from a shelter. Since then my life has gotten very complicated and I am now in a small apartment and can no longer afford to keep her. She’s so sweet, would be great with someone who has space for her to run and or time to exercise her more frequently.

Story
Was rescued when he was 5 years old, after many attempts to train against resource guarding he will only resource guard against puppies and toddler aged children (has never bitten a kid, only growls and then moves away from the kid, I can't risk to see if he would bite a kid or not). He has never resource guarded when it came to me, or whoever is in charge of feeding him. He is a really great dog he just can't be around puppies or small children.

Story
Looking for a furry friend who's equal parts playful and affectionate, distinguished yet goofy? Then you gotta meet Randy! Randy, known as Quest in his foster home, may be 7 years young, but don't let his age fool you -- he's bursting with energy and enthusiasm! This fun-loving pooch loves nothing more than engaging in activities like playing fetch, going on walks, and running around in the great outdoors. He's a true go-getter who thrives on exercise and exploration. But Randy is not just an athlete -- he's also a clever pup who loves to work for treats and learn new tricks. Randy knows his commands like a pro and is always eager to please, especially when there's treats involved. He's extremely smart and seems to understand English perfectly, picking up new commands and words with lightning speed. But when he's not exercising his body or his mind, he's the epitome of a couch potato-soft, snuggly and always ready for a cuddle session. Randy also does great home alone. He's house trained and can be left to free roam the house unsupervised without issue. This lovable senior would thrive in a home with a yard, allowing him space to romp around and play daily games of fetch. Randy politely requests a home without kids, and would prefer to be the only pet. While he might be a bit particular in his needs, we think this very good boy deserves to get all that, and more, in his forever home. So what are you waiting for? Your Quest for the perfect companion ends here! Click that 'adoption inquiry' button to meet Randy (Quest) today!

Story
AUSTIN METRO AREA ADOPTIONS ONLY Happy-go-lucky GUS! Gus is a gentle soul. He is a possible heeler mix with a husky blend (?) that was rescued from a rural kill shelter. He grew up in our rescue's ranch, first as a puppy and now he is a young adult. Please, please do not pass him by. He prefers non-dominant play mates and the ladies are his favorite ("wink"). He still acts like a puppy, as he loves to come up to you for pats and snuggles. Look at his million watt smile!! He is so happy just to be near people and he is eager to please. He LOVES treats and this is just great, as he is definitely food-motivated and will be easier to train. He will need an active family who will take him on walks and runs. One who does not mind brushing up on his training, as he is used to being in a kennel environment, running around with the other rescued dogs. But we want him to thrive with his own snuggly bed, home, and a human family. He may need some more leash training but he is smart and willing. A fenced backyard will be great, as he is happiest exploring and chasing squirrels. Gus’s adoption fee of $350.00 includes his Vet exam, current vaccinations, heart worm test, preventative, fecal test, wormer, neuter and microchip.

Story
Zeke is seeking his furever home! This boy's tail has not stopped wagging since he entered his foster home. He's such a happy-go-lucky guy that gives sweet kisses and warm cuddles. He also loves to run around and play in typical puppy fashion, so a home with a fenced in yard would be the ideal fit for Zeke. Also because he's a young puppy, we are recommending children over 5 as young kids can sometimes overwhelm young puppies (and vice versa). Zeke is going to make such an amazing addition to his furever home, you gotta check this guy out! Zeke’s adoption fee of $350.00 includes his vet exam, age appropriate vaccinations, fecal test, wormer, heart worm preventative, neuter and microchip. Austin, TX area adoptions preferred. Adoption decisions are based on the best overall match and not done on a first-come-first-serve basis. Thank you for your interest! More pictures of Zeke on our website.
