Story
This week guy was left locked in a cage for a couple of months. Since he's been in rescue, he is very affectionate and playful. Loves dogs, and kids but not a cat guy. We think he's about three years old and he weighs 40 pounds. Would love to have someone to run and play tug with. He would love a fun active family. If you are interested in adopting this sweet boy, please visit funnyfarmpets.org, or you can read all about our Tennessee based rescue and find the link to submit the adoption application He is ready to go!

Story
I was abandoned on Woodland Hills Road in Erin, TN. I am just a pup myself at 10 months old and have already gotten pregnant and had 4 puppies. I was left to fend for myself for 4 weeks out in the wild while trying to keep my puppies fed and protected. Luckily a Good Samaritan reported me to this rescue, and I was taken in immediately. Nothing is known about my previous 10 months of life. Who knows what I have been through. I was left out in the wilderness pregnant and alone. I developed a horrible skin condition, 2 tick diseases, and 2 parasites that ravaged my gastrointestinal tract. The tick diseases that I have and am being treated for are Lyme's Disease and Ehrlichiosis. The parasites that I have and am being treated for are Coccidia and Hookworms. All will be cleared up before I am adopted. I will need weekly medicated shampoos for my skin condition, antibiotics for the tick diseases, and a couple doses of worming medicine for the parasites. I gave birth to 4 puppies while out on my own and had to learn to feed them even though I am still a puppy myself. I am a very good mother. After being rescued, I developed mastitis, and my puppies had to be pulled from me. This is being treated with antibiotics as well. I am now safe and I am learning to be a puppy. I will be available for adoption after my ailments have been corrected and I have been spayed. You may still fill out an application and be preapproved for adoption through this rescue. I am a very gentle soul. Because I lost my trust in humans when I was abandoned, it may take me a little while to warm up to new people and places. I am housebroken and love basking in the sun. I love a good rub down and laying on the couch. Since developing mastitis and being separated from my puppies, I sleep on a dog bed beside the bed of the people that are taking care of me. I am not spayed yet. I have to wait until my milk is dried up. I am fully vaccinated, on flea/tick prevention, and on heartworm prevention.

Story
Clifford is the most energetic 2-year-old pup you'll ever find! He's full of life and loves to play, but he needs a slow introduction to new friends. Don't worry, he's great with other dogs! He's got a bit of a wild playstyle, but he takes correction really well. He loves giving hugs and is super affectionate.

Story
Updated: 8NOV24 ** Meet Marina** Age: 2 years old Breed: Collie / Border Mix Spayed: Yes Vaccinations: Up to date Rescue Date: July 2024 Health Status: Heartworm positive (currently being treated) **Background** Marina was rescued after being found abandoned in a local Memphis parking lot with her puppy. The Good Samaritan who found them is keeping the puppy, but due to her male dog's less-than-friendly attitude toward Marina, she's been separated while fostering. This amazing foster is making it work despite the challenges, knowing that the shelter is over capacity and that every little bit helps. **Personality** Marina is sweet and affectionate, with a lovable spirit that makes her a great companion. She's also cat-friendly, which means she can easily fit into a multi-pet household and spread her charm all around! While she enjoys playtime, she's not the most rambunctious dog; she doesn't require someone to run her miles a day. Marina has met a few dogs that aren't her rude male foster sibling and has been good with them so far! She's a very patient mama and a good sport as her puppy has entered the "tornado phase. Marina is easygoing and adaptable, making her a wonderful addition to any home. **Fun Fact** Marina is ready to charm everyone she meets! With her winning personality, she'll be the life of the party, even if she has to teach a few other pets how to share the spotlight! **Looking for** A loving forever home where she can thrive and bring joy to her new family!
