I acquired Zuko, a Border Collie, on February 11, 2024. He was born on November 28, 2023, and comes from the reputable breeder TN Border Collies in Tennessee. Zuko is an intelligent and energetic dog who has mastered basic commands and enjoys playing fetch for extended periods. While he is a wonderful companion, I am unable to provide the space he needs to thrive. I am seeking a new home for Zuko with owners who meet two key requirements: 1. Access to a spacious yard where he can run and play freely. 2. Owners who can dedicate time to engaging him through play or have children who can interact with him regularly. Zuko’s ideal environment is one that matches his high energy and need for activity.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Java is the sweetest boy who was rescued from the Memphis euthanasia room with just moments to spare. This little guy is eager to please and is a true people pleaser! He does great in his crate when his people are around and will settle down quietly after a bit of initial crying when they leave. Java loves playing with his foster siblings and has even made valiant attempts to befriend the cats by offering his blankets and toys—though they haven’t quite caught on to the idea of tug of war! He’s incredibly gentle and takes treats with the utmost care. While he’s still learning to walk on a leash, his food motivation makes him a quick study for training. Java is house-trained and crate-trained, as long as he’s promptly taken outside upon your return. Although he gets a bit distracted when someone is nearby during potty time, he’ll wait until he’s alone to do his business. . He’s the perfect size for cuddling in or near your lap and is usually able to get up on the couch by himself. This lovable pup is guaranteed to occupy every corner of your heart. Please contact Vivienne (viviennejames@comcast.net) for more information about this pet.Meet Charlie Barkley.  He is a sweet, playful awesome dog who is very easy to love.  He walks on a leash but needs additional training as he pulls.  He knows some basic commands but does need a bit more training.  Charlie is a 1 to 1 1/2 year old neutered male who weighs approximately 52 lbs.  He was originally adopted by a family that decided they no longer wanted him so they dumped him in a south Nashville neighborhood.  Charlie was found by a nice family that took him but cannot keep him because they have older cats.  They would love to add him to their family but it just win't work out.  He's been vet checked,  is current on his vaccines and is in excellent health.  Charlie is full of puppy energy and ready to play ball with the children.  He needs a younger active and energetic family who can  give him the exercise and play that he needs.  A fecned in yard is a MUST for Charlie.  When not playing, by the way ball is his favorite game, he loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. We are delighted to say that during this beautiful season of renewal and friendship and family bonding, we have 8 precious little Border Collie/Aussie mix puppies that are looking for a fresh and forever start to their life. Born about the middle of October to a beautiful Aussie mix mom, these babies were fortunately taken in by a senior couple who nurtured them for 7 weeks.  Now these precious beauties are in individual foster homes and learning so much as they grow.  5 boys and 3 girls.  They are handled and cuddled so much!  No fear issues have touched their spirit!   Mom is a 45 pound white and black beauty and we expect each of these smart pups to be in the 45-50 pound range as an adult.  If you were interested in adopting, please right to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.   Our beautiful litter of border Collie mix puppies already to fly the nest the middle of January and Sugar Cookie is so excited!  This beautiful little girl and her litter mates were all born around the end of October, near Halloween.  Their mom is an awesome mix girl that is soft and beautiful with blue eyes. They were discovered during the early weeks of birth being nursed underneath rural is area of Middle Tennessee.  This sweet puppy is being hugged and snuggled everyday by two young children that are 8 and 10 yrs.     The stay at home mom is teaching them house manners and making sure all 6 of the puppies play fair!!!   We think Sugar Cookie is mixed with Aussie and Border Collie and predicted to be 45 lbs.   She is definitely an active breed in need of a securely fenced yard to play and run off energy that a herding breed has.  There are 3 girls and 5 boys all total.  The foster homes have broken down the litter in to groups for easier training.
