Story
My sweet Remy boy was a stray and got turned into a local shelter where he was then adopted. He is young, fun soul. He loves to run and play and he is definitely a talker (like actually, if you’re leaving he will he will let you know he will miss you). He is 3 years old and hes a border collie mix. We are not a 100% sure what all he is mixed with but he is a good boy. He is known to try and run away if he is off leash so I am looking for someone who has a fenced in yard. He is house trained and knows a few tricks but he still has a lot of learning to do. He is smart so i am sure it will not be too hard. We are not home enough to care for his needs correctly and we live in an apartment not suited for how energetic he is. We just need someone who will love him and let him run free. Thank you! Meet Bowie - a 5-year-old Border Collie mix with endless smarts, boundless energy, and a toy permanently attached to his mouth. He’s been with us since we rescued him at 5 months old and has brought so much personality into our home. Bowie is house trained, leash trained, and knows sit, stay, lay, shake, and go to bed. His love language is fetch - if you’ve got an arm, he’s got the ball. He does take a daily Prozac (slipped right into a treat - easy as can be) that helps him thrive, and he’s a total pro about it. He’s a high energy guy who’d do best with an active family and room to run. Bowie would prefer to be the only dog in the home, since he can be particular about some other dogs. He does bark some, and his history with young children is limited but he’s never had any issues. All shots are up to date and we’re happy to share vet records. Bowie just needs the right family - one who will match his energy and love him fiercely. If that’s you, please reach out!

Now, before we go any further into my story.... let me warn you...it contains heartache and then some puppies, and fear and even some hopelessness. We do go to the top of the mountain as well, so hold in for the wild ride of my life:) maybe you will get to be my happily ever after.... So I was born a poor border collie mixed pup, in the miserable heat, in a disgusting backyard. To a mama that could have been so beautiful, if she had been brushed and cared for.... Fast forward thru almost 4 YEARS of misery and puppies, we were saved!!! I was saved with 9 newborn puppies and my sister/daughter/ cousin, etccc Princess and HER 9 PUPPIES TOO! We landed safe and sound at the rescue! We are now gorgeous girls and all pups grown and adopted! Now its time for me!! I am a single gal, and really don't like other dogs in my business. I want to be the Queen of the house :D Adopt me and I will fill YOUR home with my love and devotion. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
