Story
Cotton is a very special and loving boy, who was born deaf. According to a DNA test, he is a double merle, most likely responsible for his deafness and unique blue eyes. He and his foster mom have been working with a professional trainer to learn alternative means of communication, such as the use of hand signals. Cotton is a quick learner and wants to please his human(s). He is about 2 ½ years old and weighs about 25 pounds. He is housetrained but might have an occasional accident. He gets along well with a cat and other small animals in his foster home. Cotton is a cute and playful boy. While he loves playing with his human(s), he also entertains himself playing independently with a variety of toys. He has a soft, somewhat fluffy coat and loves to be snuggled and petted. While Cotton would make a wonderful addition to any home, he needs a family committed to learning how he communicates with humans, providing him with consistency. The professional trainer working with Cotton and his foster mom offers transitional services to assist with acclimation to new homes for a minimal cost. Story
Anchor is a sweet boy with an amazing personality. I adopted him in September 2024. Since then, my life has done a 180 and I am in dire need of finding him a better home. When I got him, I was in a relationship and living with said person. Therefore, Anchor was hardly left alone and was able to spend a lot of time outside! This is no longer the case because I am gone M-F from 7-5, which means he’s in his crate. He is very high energy, loves to play tug of war and run. He is super affectionate and loves to cuddle! He needs someone with an active lifestyle. He is crate trained, house trained, and potty trained. He knows basic commands but he will catch onto anything you want to teach him VERY quickly. Please help me find him a great home.

Story
*** COURTESY POSTING *** Feral Feline Friends of East Tennessee normally sticks to felines, but one-year-old Marlo snuck into the backyard of one of our fosters hearing we were the place for adoptions… so here she is! Sadly no owner stepped up and she wasn’t microchipped, so the cats convened and agreed to make an exception for Marlo to be adopted through FFF. She’s a super sweet and friendly dog who loves to be petted. She is particularly to people who will give her treats! Marlo has been hanging out with two resident dogs and has been doing great, but she hasn’t met any felines or kids since being with us. Since she was a stray and no owner stepped forward, we don’t know how she would do. If you’d like to meet her, complete an online adoption app at feralfelinefriends.org and we can schedule a meet and greet! Please share!

Story
Pappy is, what we call in rescue, a “very good boy!” He is young; estimated to be between 1-2 years old. He weighs 45-50 pounds and we believe he is a red Border Collie/ Great Pyrenees mix. This is an educated guess, based on his coloring and double back do claws, so Great Pyrenees mix is very likely. Pappy is has interacted favorably with many other dogs in rescue. He is friendly with dogs and super friendly with people! He has a gentle nature and is affectionate. He will be a fun and easy addition to any active family or individual wanting to add a 4-legged companion who will be an eager partner in crime and a constant source of unconditional love. He is pretty good on a leash and crate trained.FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed.
